  1. pretty sure the FE cards come with adapters and partner models dont even use the 12pin. (im not too sure about this) once the new GPUs come out and they really do use that much power (just speculating from leaks), then the PSU manufacturers will be incentizied to tell you which ones will work better and which ones are not atx3.0. so id just wait.
  2. ive heard bad things about the quality of the tuf f15 so i'd try to stay away from that one. im not too familiar with the laptop market in india but the availability seems much worse compared to the US. I would try to wait a bit longer because all the chip shortages have made the price of everything go up and its only coming down in the past couple months. so I would wait as long as possible unless you absolutely need one right now.
  3. because with a windows laptop, you are more likely to be able to repair it, what what you want with it, install any OS on it, replace parts yourself if something breaks, is sometimes cheaper, better keyboard, you have the option for a gpu, more ports, ssd that you can replace. I dont see why you WOULD buy a mac unless you want video editing, seemingly the only thing its better than windows computers for. Edit: dont forget the availability of games on windows compared to macs
  4. id rather go for a windows laptop with a color accurate display. any particular reason for a mac?
  5. wait hold on a second.... I just bought an intel ax210 wifi module today which says its 5.2 on the spec sheet yet I also have lmp 12 now. so now i dont know if its just that the ax210 supports 5.3 but it doesnt say, or lmp 12 is still 5.2 Edit: I did some more digging and this is what I found on the bluetooth specifications website: https://btprodspecificationrefs.blob.core.windows.net/assigned-numbers/Assigned Number Types/Host Controller Interface.pdf in addition of the LMP, theres also the HCI version specified. ' I have HCI 12.13444 / LMP 12.13444 and according to this document, that means 5.3 so maybe it really is 5.3
  6. considering lmp10 is 5.1 and lmp11 is 5.2, It would seem as if lmp12 is 5.3, yes
  7. if you take the side panel off and set your fans to 100% what happens?
  8. i would certainly update the bios. that should not be a problem at all.
  9. well if range is a concern, wifi 6 is going to be worse than 5 anyway. newer wifi versions use higher frequencies which have lower range. and you dont really need blazing fast internet on your phone anyway. so wifi 5 will be perfect. I dont know which ones are good at that price range so im not sure how I can help.
  10. for that price, you wont find any good wifi6 router. best stick with wifi 5 instead (its older so its cheaper). most of your devices probably dont even support wifi6 yet so its pointless.
  11. dual boot it. don't switch immediately. also, id rather go with potentially something arch based since steam os for the steam deck is arch based so lots of applications will start to target that instead of something Debian based. arch is not nearly as user friendly as something debian based, but if you are using it as a gaming machine, i would imagine arch support will be better than debian support.
  12. I have a laptop without a proper fan control software. however there is a keybind that sets the fan speed to max. is there a way in windows to track exactly what happens when I use the keybind? im assuming theres some sort of software in the background but idk how to figure out ecatly whats happening. I want to know so I could possible modify the program and get some sort of PWM control I have a lenovo legion y530 and the keybind is Fn + Q.
  13. try reinstalling the games and/or using DDU to get a fresh install of drivers.
  14. those scores look about right... what resolution is your monitor. make sure you arent going above 1080p
  15. what settings are the games running at? an rx580 will probably play cb2077 at like 40fps at lowest settings 1080p. not sure about other games. make sure you turn vsync off, and set everything to low/off. what fps do you get now?
  16. lubuntu is also pretty common to use on low end systems. also, why are you burning CDs? can you not just use a usb stick? using anything older than 3 years for a linux distro is REALLY not a good idea. filled with security problems and bugs or just missing features.
  17. is there a reason you are using such an ancient version of ubuntu?
  18. in the virtualbox settings, did you enable the usb controller? try to use at least usb2.0. depending on what exactly you need to do with the USB, why not mount the usb as a shared folder?
  19. @Biohazard777 you didnt really need to go digging through their profile to find a location.. if they didnt want to say, leave it there. kinda weird dude
  20. well considering you need to use the adobe suite, intel is probably better. since you need a bunch of projectors, getting those super cheap GPUs is a good option. (many people will get something like the gt 730 for display outputs) since those workloads are pretty intensive, you'll want *at least* 12600k cpu, at least rtx2060 level of gpu. at least 32gb ram edit: having multiple display outs but also being itx build gets really hard to do. cant have small and lots of ports for display. might want to consider maybe thunderbolt ports for display outs or something.
  21. why would you pirate windows 10? you can get an official copy for free. and there are.... ways... to remove the watermark if you just dont activate it. you could also just buy an OEM key which is like $20usd
  22. imma be honest.. youtube its free, has thousands of videos (good and bad) so there is endless content for you. you could also start going through certifications training videos since certifications are sometimes better than university classes Edit: i think it was the comtia a+ cert. its literally useless. go for more specialist certs as they are more useful and teach you things you probably wont learn in college. they do get expensive very quickly tho (tests are usually in the 700-2000usd range) but training is much cheaper/free
  23. you'd have to port forward on the new ISP and make sure they actually give you a unique public IP (which is often rare). There are probably other methods, but im not aware of them
  24. that is RCS feature which not all carriers support yet. its a new communication method that google made to try to replace SMS. basically like how apple has iMessage, google wants to make a universal version called RCS.
  25. instead of setting a static voltage, I would consider using the offset instead. but also, maybe the motherboard bios is overriding these settings? idk how xtu works in combination with mobo bios settings. Edit: its also possible that the cooler is not mounted properly. I would check this as well as a last resort. make sure not to make the screws *too* tight or else the board will flex, and it will actually be worse than keeping it a tiny bit looser.
