  1. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Ryzen generally better for people who want to stream and video edit and that type of stuff? I only care about FPS, which is why I picked intel. But now that you mention it, I could build a ryzen system now and upgrade the cpu in a couple years...
  2. And that’s $600 not including GPU (at least not this year, I’ll upgrade that in the future to save money now.
  3. My budget’s about $600, I care more about value and having a “good nuff” experience overall. Also trying to make good use of my 1080p 144hz monitor. located in the US
  4. Hi, I have all the parts I need to build a pc, but I can’t decide if now is a good time to build one. Basically, there are few/no games coming out in the next year that I’m really looking forward to, that would likely utilize a hardware upgrade. My current pc has an i5-2300 which lags on a lot of games, so I want to upgrade it. Planning on keeping my current GTX 960 and upgrading the CPU to the i3-8350K. Should I bother to return everything and wait another year until there are games coming out that I care for, or will the change in performance between the 8350k and the 9350k (or equivalent) be more or less inconsequential? Thanks!
