so far i love my 590 with my 1080p monitor but i would like to go 21:9 and ik even on 1080p i wanna commit suicide with that vram, i do get to downscale a few games such as lol and most source engine games on 1440p. but hey what can say when you get a card like that for free  also linus showed a demo of 3x 1280x720p in surround which looks more demanding then a 21:9 for the 590

For optimizations keep your drivers up to date, not sure what else to say as most people suggest not to OC it.   Now everyone imagine trying to overclock a 490 if they made one, those temps...

Yeah... I don't really care for G-Sync as I'm not that hardcore and Mantle pretty cool, but isn't a deal breaker for me.

GTX 760 costs around 300$ and both R9 and 660 are around 215$, so no...

Hard drives are ticking time bombs that will randomly die on you. Ssd's are you durable, have no moving parts, and modern ones tested to last ~250 years with a decent amount of daily writes. They'll likely last longer than you need them to.
Btw, you need to quote a post or tag a member or else they won't get a notification you replied to them.
