Do u not have any antivirus software installed in ur pc? I have noticed windows defender acts up like this once in a while and my guess is it is running a scheduled scan or something.

I would put it on Ebay and make something out of it rather than throwing. The GPU should bring good money these days as the older GPUs seem to be inflated due to the shortage.

I got an HP laptop with a 940MX and it always sits between 80 to 90 Celsius too when playing almost any game. Been gaming on it for 3 yrs now almost everyday, Im not 100% sure but im guessing this could be normal with laptops.

Yea I was an idiot to switch it to SMS. I dont think it gets blocked by my ISP as it used to work without any issues just a few weeks back.

I have been trying to login to my Paypal account several times this week and during login it asks for this OTP code which will be sent as an SMS to my phone. No matter how many times I have tried resending, it never comes and I'm now locked out of my own account. I tried it like 3 separate days this week and it didn't arrive. It used to work a few weeks ago without any issues. I have no way of reporting this to Paypal too as that also requires you to be signed in to your account. Anybody facing this issue lately? Any suggestions to get this resolved would be helpful. thanks.

I updated the drivers too and it still happens. Plugging in the headphones to the 3.5mm doesnt work too. Now im wondering if the built in sound card of the laptop has gone bad.

If controller support is provided by the devs then its not cheating. What I believe is cheating are the people who play mobile shooters on PC for example using keyboard and mouse running it on Bluestacks. For mobile gamers I think its really unfair as they are most likely to be on a touch screen while some guy is running around with keyboard and mouse. These types of players are very common where I live. Some time back there was this PUBG mobile tournament hosted by a local university and there were pictures of this one guy participating with an Asus gaming laptop lol. It went viral here and people were making fun of it on Facebook. idk if mobile game devs have done anything to counter this.

Nope. no sound comes out when this happens. My only suspicion is the driver at this point but I could be wrong.

Hi, I have been encountering this problem since last week in my HP laptop where if I wake it up from sleep mode it's built in speakers stops working. The speaker icon in windows gets the red cross. clicking on it brings the windows troubleshoot utility which crashes like this: I went on device manager to see if the Relatek audio device can be found there and it seem to have disappeared I believe this is some sort of driver related issue and so went on services to restart the Realtek audio service. Doing so didnt change anything. The issue fixes itself sometimes when I put it to sleep mode and wake it up again. But sometimes it requires a full restart which can be annoying when I have a bunch of stuff open. If u know anything please do leave a comment. Thanks.

Nobody told me that but growing up I thought the same myself. however now I have realized that being careless and not being a responsible rider/driver is what gets people in crashes not the high performance vehicle itself.

So I have got myself a used 27" Dell monitor. Model number: P2717H which I have hooked upto my laptops HDMI. The laptop's GPU is an Intel UHD 620 GPU. After using it for a while for office work, reading documents, I have noticed that it is a bit difficult in the eye as it feels really fuzzy. The icons and text also have noticeable amount of rough edges. I have confirmed the monitor is running at its best refresh rate and resolution which is 60Hz at 1920x1080. But I somehow feel what im seeing is lower than this as I constantly find myself going to display settings to see if it has changed to something lower. However this was not noticeable in gaming when using the same laptop but this time with its dedicated nvidia 940mx gpu. Another thing I noticed is the device manager shows both my laptop screen and the dell monitor as generic PnP monitors. Is that supposed to happen when using a monitor like this or is there a necessary driver for it? In the past I have never installed a monitor driver. what could be the reason for this? This it the only 27" monitor I have sat in front of so idk what to expect from them. Dont even know if this is the nature of this model. Or if its an aforementioned gpu or driver related issue. Please do advise if u know anything. thanks.

It has decreased where I live. I believe it has been throttled by our ISPs ever since the initial lockdowns because more people are still working from home. Im assuming they have done this to support the large number of users on their network.
