This community is honestly the nicest and most caring bunch of people I have ever interacted with on the internet. Every one of you that I've talked to has been nice, and always supportive. As dumb as that may sound it means a lot to me, because through all the shit I go through every day, it's nice to know that for part of my free time, I can enjoy communicating with others about things we have a passion about.

As for the title of the post, I say that because I keep trying to give Reddit the credit others think they deserve as a good community, but I've come to the conclusion that they aren't. I posted my computer build to the /r/BuildAPC subreddit and immediately got shit on the parts I chose and got not one, not two, but three different PMs telling me that I was "a dumbass faggot that doesn't know shit". I do know what I'm talking about, and I do have reason behind why I build the computers I build, but to the bunch of "nice" people that Reddit is supposed to be, they certainly do not care. What they do seem to care about though is bringing people down to a low. Now there is a few subreddits that seem actually nice, but for the remaining 99% not so much.

This is just my experience, and in no way did I mean to offend any of you that are on Reddit. I'm just venting essentially :p

Sorry, but I just deleted the thread and account. I just wanted to get away from it all for good :). As you can see in my sig, people were getting mad at me because I have a higher-end case with budget oriented components, and the fact that I am re-using parts from other builds.

From a realistic point of view I would offer him $1300 for it. A lot of that DOES NOT NEED TO BE FIXED. What NEEDS to be fixed is car batter ($50), Engine mount ($30) because you will probably need to also replace the anti vibration mount along with a new bolt. And the wiper system ($50) which you can get from a wrecked car of the same model and close year from a junkyard.

Is it going to be a beautiful show car that is like new, fuck no. But it is your first car, you will probably end up breaking shit anyways. Sounds to me like it is a great little car that has a lot of life left in it and will do great on gas.

Update 4/3/14: I spent the last few months since my first post making some updates to the build.  Updates copied from my reddit post on /r/cablemanagement:

Re-sleeved the 24-pin to remove the cable extension and sewed the wires to maintain the evenness of the cable coming out of the motherboard.
Shortened the length of the PCI-E cable and added three stitches to maintain evenness. The stitches keep the cable very rigid and as it passes through the back panel grommet I have it running under the corner of the GPU. This serves to prop the GPU up, eliminating GPU sag completely.
Removed the drive cages and mounted the HDD to the floor with anti-vibration mounting (before while in the Corsair cage, the HDD vibrations would move my mouse cursor. Problem solved and bonus airflow.)
Mounted the SSD to the rear panel to be in view from the window.
Non-cable management related: Added Bitspower fan adaptors and 120mm SP120 PWM fans to the rad. I had to literally break the locking clip on the ESP connector to get it to fit. The ESP connector is very rigid due to the sleeving, routing, and sewing so it does not budge unless I remove the whole cable.
Upgraded to 4770K thanks to Staples for $230
    Enjoy!

    Build Notes:
This is actually my very first start-to-finish build. In the past, I have had pre-builts from Dell that I managed to upgrade on my own and I have always had very strong knowledge of electronics and computer components in general. My last computer was my beloved Gateway P-7805u FX that served me extremely well for 4 years.  I upgraded the processor to an Intel T9600, and pretty much everything else that could be upgraded. My main motivation was pretty much the build itself and making it look awesome and not necessary what I could do with it. When I finished I felt like the boys at the end of Make Love Not Warcraft: "Kyle: So, what do we do now? Cartman: What d'you mean? Now we can finally play the game." All of the cable sleeving was done by me including crimping, cutting, and soldering of all custom length wires. I purchased the necessary tools and materials almost exclusively from Lutro0 Customs and also relied heavily on Josiah's sleeving guides and tutorials. I probably spent another $200 - $250 on sleeving materials and tools. 90% of the time I spent on this build was sleeving and cable managing. I'm pretty sure I went through 400+ zip ties routing and re-routing cables. The 24-pin gave me the most headache, not because it was time consuming to sleeve nor that there were double wires, but because the wires looked messy and "unkempt" when the connector was plugged in. Here is what I meanMy OCD would not allow this and so I made a 24-pin extension so that the cables would align nicely. I have since bought one of Lutro0's 24-pin cable clamps to see if I can use that instead and remove the excess wire length the extension created. I purchased the QNIX through Newegg shortly after Newegg began selling them. Although I only paid for the non-perfect pixel version, the seller sent me a perfect pixel anyway. There was one stuck pixel right smack in the middle of the screen when I first powered it on, but I (literally) gave it a little massage and it went away. I have overclocked it to 120Hz. Timing on the 780 Lightning price cut could not have been at a better time. I was waiting for the 290X non-reference coolers to be released but my dream was really to have a Lightning. Current and Future Developments:
The CPU is currently overclocked to 4.5GHz at 1.275v which has been very stable via IntelBurnTest, Prime95, etc. Case and Kraken fans: I am fully aware that the Air Series AF140s I'm using with the Kraken's radiator are neither static pressure fans nor are they PWM fans since Corsair does not make static pressure PWM 140mm fans (except those bundled with the H110). But for aesthetic reasons, I think you can see why I'm using them anyway. That said, I have purchased this bracket to retro-fit 120mm PWM SP120s which will maintain the aesthetic quality of the build.  Fitment in the 350D is a question but I'm fairly confident I can finagle them in there. Lastly, I have some Coollaboratory Liquid Pro on the way as I plan to de-lid and re-apply the TIM to see if I can get to 4.6GHz stable. We'll see how that goes. Overclocks on the Lightning are fairly unstable and I have left it at stock clocks for now.  The card runs BF4 beautifully in stock form, and is very unstable even with mild overclocks.  This could be a combination of BF4 being a POS, drivers, or who knows. As mentioned, I've purchased Lutro0's 24-pin, and 3 x 8-pin cable clamps from Frozencpu to better orient the cables and hopefully remove the need for the additional cable extension that creates so much excess cabling under the back panel. Because the Lightning takes up 2.5 PCI-E slots, SLI unfortunately is not an option until I commit to a full water loop.  This time next year perhaps...

The HTC one is the best phone I have ever used. The only draw back is the lack of a physical menu button but you can easily install a mod or a ROM like android revolution hd which let's you long press either the home or back button to act as a menu button. Also you failed to mention blink feed which I personally enjoy.
All in all this was a great review and I am happy to say that the htc one was my first android device and I loved it. Unfortunately I had to trade it for a Samsung galaxy s4 because I couldn't access t mobiles AWS bands.

I'm just gonna cover a few points because I could write a 18-post long entry.
    First Impressions:
WOW! This phone is fast as hell, sounds f*cking amazing, is built extremely well, the interface looks awesome and works great, the reception is a solid improvement over the iPhone 5, and just over all is a extraordinary example of what HTC should have done all along to capture the market.
    Display:
It looks sharp, accurate, just very very nice. It gets very bright and very dim when needed, and auto-brightness is pretty spot-on for needed situations. I saw no problems with bleeding or tints, just one stuck pixel, but honestly I can live with it because I'd really rather not take it back and have to re-set-up everything.
    Sound:
As I said before, WOW! The marketing of the "BoomSound" speakers is not crap, it really is as amazing as they make it seem. The stereo experience is something we take for granted on a desktop or most laptops, so on a phone, it really blows you away and makes you appreciate it so much more. As much as Beats Audio seems like a scam, it really does make music sound better, at least over the built in-speakers. Voices sound clearer and more rich, and music generally has more range and tends to be a bit bass heavy, but for me at least, it's fine considering most of what I listen to is EDM and hip hop. Worst case scenario you could disable Beats all together and download another EQ from the Play Store. Over headphones audio also tends to be bass heavy from Beats Audio, but it I were to listen to pro-grade headphones more I'd probably download another EQ.
    Performance:
Very snappy and fast, not a single complaint to report. With my iPhone I'd get frustrated pretty frequently at how slow things could be, but I've yet to run into that issue on the One. There's virtually no lag besides your finger and the touch controller, but that is something you can't avoid on any phone. I have run into some apps being slow such as older games, but that is mainly because they are either ports from iOS or not optimized for the newer generation of Android phones.
    Build:
The phone feels very sturdy and I'm sure it would fair up just fine to frequent small drops, throwing / sliding around, you know, pretty average wear and tear. Me being the paranoid person I am about my electronics until I've have them for about 9 months, I almost immediately bought a case for the phone, although only being a slim snap on case. It at least gave me a sense of security.
    Cameras:
They seem just as awesome as my iPhone 5's maybe just a little bit better for experiencing the content taken from them because of the larger screen. The wide front camera is a really nice upgrade from the 5 though.
    Battery Life:
It seems to last a good bit longer than my iPhone (1440maH vs 2300maH), and if I am uncomfortable with how low the battery is getting I can just flip the notification tray down and hit the "Power Saver" button. I use my phone pretty hard from about 9am to 11pm, and I usually have to plug it in by then.
    Things I Changed:
Nothing really. Just downloaded "Battery Widget Reborn" so I could see my battery percentage, and "Notification Toggle" to quickly toggle WiFi, rotation, etc from the notification tray.
    -- Overall Impression --
I love this phone. I have no regrets buying it or extending my contract to do so. It does everything I wanted a phone to do and more. Like Steve Jobs has said in the past "the customer doesn't know what they want, you have to tell them what they want." Although I could be called an Apple fanboy by many of friends because I favor my MacBook over anyone else's PC laptop, or reccommending an iPhone to anyone wanting a smartphone, having an Apple TV, following all the Apple events, etc., I gave my iPhone 5 to my girlfriend. Yup. I could have easily kept it to default on in case I don't like my One anymore, I don't think I'll ever be doing that. Worst comes to worst I'd probably want to try a new OS or app out on the iPhone, I can just ask her to borrow her phone.
Thanks for reading! Just wanted to share my experience with the HTC One. It's definitely a lot for me to say all that I did. I've owned an HTC Desire HD twice, Samsung Captivate, Galaxy S II Skyrocket with a sh*t load of ROMs, and every iPhone since the 3GS, so trust me when I say as much as I have ;)
    Oh, and BlinkFeed is awesome

Update 1- Front and Top Panel Mods
I am modding the front panel becuase i plan to mount a 280 radiator in the front of the case. The ventilation on the front panel is not really sufficient for me.      This picture shows the plastic front part of front panl that clips off the front, i have un-screwed it from the dust filter, covered it in masking tape and marked out where im going to drill and cut.     I drill the 3 right angle corners because i don't have a demel and i wanted to keep the corner rounded equally. The 4th corner is such a large radius that i will do it with the jigsaw.     Cut from hole to hole with the jigsaw and then used a combination of flat and round files of various courseness to get the edges square and smooth.     500mm x 500mm black mesh from Kustompc, going to be stuck in all of the gaps that i cut out.     Here i am bending a rectangle of the mesh so that it will fit inside the 5.25" bays and so that i have something to glue to the edges. I did this by hammering the mesh over the sides of a vice that has square edges.     Here is the finished 5.25" bay cover, edges so i can glue it to the sides of the bays.     Another piece of mesh cut out, this time slightly bigger than the cut made in the first pictures. I have also put it inbetween some planks of wood and used some G clamps to squeeze it together in order to flatten it as the mesh arrived slightly bent.     When working with the mesh it got a little beat up so i decided to give it a few thin coats of black spray paint just to make sure it was al perfectly black. In this picture you can also see the large piece for the top panel.     To stick all of the mesh onto the plastic i am using a 2 part epoxy resin, i normally use araldite but this stuff was on sale and works just as well.     Applied the resin liberally and used objects to weight it down while it set, took about 20 minutes to dry and about 24 hours to fully set.     Top Panel with resin set and Finished.     On the left is the 5.25" bays finished andon the right is me attaching the front panel back onto the filter frame, i removed the filter and plan to use individual filters in between the fan and the radiators.     Finished the front and top panel mods, next is going to be the midplate in order to create a basement.

I won't reveal too much, but the internals will change drastically, there will be water cooling, and plenty of it, and the case should look slightly different :)
