    I see it's not a great deal now, but it doesn't matter that it's my girlfriend's dad's car. I've been with my girlfriend for a very long time, and have a great relationship with her parents.

    So I'm buying my first car from my long-time girlfriend's dad, and it definitely needs some work. I want to know if it's worth it with the repairs, or I should just get something else 6 months in the future around the same price. Car: 2001 Audi A6 2.8, ~150K miles Problems: Entire front plastic fascia needs replaced Rubber inserts for optional headlight wipers needed Speakers work but are very distorted and static-y at all volumes Minor dents all over sides and corners of car Back left window needs motor replaced Back seat cup holders need replaced Back seat emergency kit flap needs replaced One of the engine mount bolts needs replaced (car jumps when accelerating suddenly) Entire windshield wiper system needs replaced Paints needs touched up all over car Battery needs replaced Headliner needs put back into place in various places He is offering me the car in it's current condition for $1700, and he said there may be more wrong with the car that he doesn't know about, but this is what Firestone reported about 90 days ago. All together it's looking to be $4000-$4500 in repairs to get it all fixed up, but I don't know if it's worth it. I am no car expert, so I figured I'd throw this out there as I'm sure someone knows a good bit about them. All help is appreciated, thanks!

    The screen is what I'm most pumped for. Although I can't see the difference between it and 1080p probably, developing games and apps for it to take advantage of all the pixels would be interesting. Thanks for the giveaway LMG and LG!

    So, I have an interesting problem. I can see all my VPN connections (and they aren't greyed out), but when I click on any one of the profiles, nothing happens. I've rebooted many times, updated Ubuntu to the latest updates, restarted and re-installed OpenVPN and the network manager many times, but nothing has worked. A video is included to show what happens. Thanks in advance for anyone's advice/help

    I have the M50s and they sound pretty great to me for the price. The bass is nice and tight, highs are sharp but retain clarity, and mids are relatively flat, although sometimes they seem muddy with Rock / Live EDM.

    Yeah, its stupid. Lately I've been completely hooked on these things. I feel like I'm doing something wrong if I don't have 2, maybe 3 a day. Any tips on how to slow this down?

    So tell me, why do you have the parts you have right now? Personally, I never intended for myself to have the parts I have. After being over generous and giving away about all of the parts I had purchased to finally have a nice rig, I was left with nothing. Somehow I've ended up with this oddball (in my sig). It's not a screamer, it's really not much of anything, but it'll get me by for a bit.
