  1. I know someone, who already has their hands on 2 3060s and i can confirm from him, that non of the current drivers for 3000 series work on 3060. You might even get a message from NVIDIA with them asking how you even got the card before launch
  2. Hello! So, im tempting on getting a 1080ti in afew days. Its a good deal, so i can't really say no to it. But my question is, can i actually run it with my system?. CPU: R5 2600 (4ghz). Using 120W max. Bequiet Dark Rock Pro cooler on the cpu. 3 HDDs. 2 SSDs + 1 nvme. Current PSU: Corsair VS 550w Bronze. The 1080ti i might get: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SEA HAWK. My problem is, that im not sure if this PSU can actually handle the 1080ti. My current 1070 uses 180W, my friend has a 1080ti and his uses up to 350W. As nvidia recommends 600w PSU's with 1080 Ti's. Are any of you actually using 1080tis with 550w psus? Thanks in advance.
  3. XMP settings can easily be seen on BIOS. That will make sure your RAM is running on right speed (they are premade settings basically) I am not certain with Intel mobos, but for my AMD mobo, i was able to use m.2 nvme ssd on my first slot just by putting one there. If i want to use my other one, id need to not use my SATA 1 port and something else. Not sure if this helps anything- But yea, u are for sure able to use m.2 drives.
  4. You should be totally fine. Just remember to use XMP profiles
  5. Hello! CPU: R5 2600 Mobo: Title *MSI X470 Gaming Plus* RAM: HyperX Predator 2933 cl15 (2x8gb) I'v been trying to get offset voltage working with my current build and it seems to be not working. What i have tried. Offset voltage 0.125 to 0.2 (both + and -) These give me 1.4v (with x40 multiplier) I am also forced to change my multiplier back to x40 every time i change the offset voltage. If i don't change it and it uses the stock x34 multiplier, the offset seems to be working. The voltage goes between 1.15 to 1.2v and my CPU is around 3.8ghz. If i use Prime95, my cpu clock goes to 3.6ghz with 1.1v Anyone else with this kind of a problem that if they want to use offset voltage, they can't use multiplier. *Note*, Yes, my CPU does not overclock to 4ghz with XFR.
  6. Yes, identical memory sticks of 4. Pins were fine. he did get to test the CPU on a different motherboard and yep. the CPU is damaged. it couldn't even boot with the different am2+ mobo.
  7. He did get the money back luckily. Also was able to keep the CPU. Will tell him to do that. Will keep you updated once i get a reply from him.
  8. Hello! My friend bought himself a new CPU. After installing the new CPU, the following happened. His PC could not boot up with more than 1 RAM sticks. CPU: Amd phenom II 940 black edition MOBO: Ga ma770-ud3 rev1.0 (Bios F8) He tried this with many types of RAM, it only worked with one stick, once he puts 2, PC wont boot. His old CPU: Amd phenom x4 9550 The new CPU is supported with that mobo. He tried CMOS reset and that didn't help. Once he puts the old CPU back, then he can use all RAM slots once again. Any idea what is causing this problem? He tried to look for possible solutions but failed.
  9. Yea, 70 does seem quite cheap but as i noticed, it is a Older woman selling it, therefor prolly doesnt know the real price of it. They also posted 2 pics. One of package and the other of SSD.
  10. Hello! So, i found a guy selling 800GB INTEL SSD DC S3520 for 70€. (Supposedly new) The 500GB Kingston UV400 goes for 50€ here. Are those Intel SSD's worth a try? Does anyone have any experience with them? Im looking for a SSD to store my games as im currently using 2x120gb kingston uv400's for game storage.
  11. Wouldn't get this. But how much can u get this for?
  12. What is your CPU? also what games do ya play.
  13. Yes, im using the latest CPUID HwMonitor version. XFR is enabled from Bios or where?
  14. Hello! After been using my R5 2600 for a month now, iv noticed that the CPU does some random overclocks. Mobo: MSI X470 Gaming Plus. I have the CPU OC'ed to 4.05Ghz but in HwMonitor, it sometimes shows even higher OC' on all cores. is this XFR ? or why does it do that.
