Gotcha maybe ill try that and take back the headset i just bought. Alright so even if i just reinstalled the copy from microsoft, i should try it again with a different cd key. love reinstalling windows over and over ?

Yeah and don't crack it this time it might show activate windows when you boot up ignore those pop up for now and stress test it if it works them you maybe consider buying the 10$ key just to remove the pop-up but there will be no issue running it as is if it fixes the issue

Hope so! the thing with this version of windows was i got it from the microsoft website and then cracked it afterwards. So the files should be legit right? i activated windows through the windows power shell method so nothing should have changed as far as files go

The crack caused the issue for me. Changing to a non cracked version fixed it for me.

I was able to get it working on the 3.5mm, cant use the mic then tho and dont get that sweet 7.1 audio sucks there isnt a fix yet :/ is 10 bucks a good price for windows 10 cd key?

You can get a splitter for the mic and if you really want 7.1 you can get a separate 7.1 audio dingle because the issue is not with the headset but hyperx's dongle and don't buy a cd key just take one from the net there are many floating around and It will do you perfectly well. Although search for the key first because key vary from version to version (pro/home/multi language etc)

Not original windows, used cmd to activate windows 10 downloaded from microsoft could try and get a cd key, all ssd test are coming back normal

Try getting CD key from net it will install a genuine windows many times pirated windows lack some drivers and causes crashes. Hope the genine windows and fake CD key works for you. There will be a lot of trial and error in this approach though but you will get a working one in 10 mins of trial and error

As a side note too, im not sure if this can be answered here but my hyper x cloud II cause HID headset to crash resulting in system crashes. I have sense got a new headset because after searching everywhere i could not find a fix, but i have never posted to a forum before so maybe someone here has a answer for that as well. Thanks

Not ideal solution but try ditching the USB and just use it with 3.5mm audio of your mobo. It is a frequent problem with no fix discovered yet. :/

Is crystaldiskinfo good to check this?

Yes crystaldiskinfo is good for this. Also are you running original windows? I had similar issue with pirated Windows I suggest downloading original windows from Microsoft website and searching for CD keys online never had a single issue with that

A 570 retails for around $120 or less.  A 1660 ti is closer to $280. Not $40 more.

A 450 watt power supply is way more than enough for this build. He does not need a 650 watt power supply. If OP was going to upgrade I would suggest a better quality 450w unit. Not a higher wattage unit

Not where I live a 570 is 150$ and 200$ for 1660ti. Well that is personal choice how one sees the psu issue but according to me everything is getting more power hungry and efficient and psu definitely won't limit the cpu but upgrading the gpu down the line... Well that is another story.

  8. If you are taking a Rx 570 then an Nvidia 1660ti is a better option for about 40 bucks more. I know the work you require is not gpu intensive but for 40 bucks more you will be getting a way more powerful gpu. Also I think you should go for at least a 650w psu because as the component are getting more power hungry a 650w should be on a safer side it will be about 10 bucks more than what you are paying right now. And as you are on a budget don't specifically veer off to get a modular one, it won't improve performance but will increase unnecessary cost. For case there isn't much but aesthetically and build quality wise phanteks eclipse p350x is a better option being cheaper offering a bigger tempered glass window and rgb if you are into that. NZXT h510 is also a solid option  costing about the same but offering way better build quality and cable management options.

Oh and I personally bought plex pass because of the mobile sync feature. It's much easier than finding a usb cable and copying a shit ton of content over to a tablet the day before going on vacation or something. Why pay for wifi on a plane when you could just make sure the files are on the device prior to leaving? Just hit a button and it copies it all or transcodes it. Oh and yes I know streaming is a thing but, have you ever tried streaming a movie while travelling by car in the mountains of California? Because I was in a place called Temecula and my phone was practically useless when we were going that way. I know heaven forbid I look out the window

I know the feeling man. So basically I had an extra server laying over it is a Dell edge server 2017 haven't really got in depth into it got a sick deal on it ? and was wondering what to do and had an idea let's check plex out but I was stuck if I really needed it and how to get media for it. Need would be a strong word for my condition but I am gonna give it a try for the content I think I will search the web. Can I copy like a blu ray to my pc and not lose the quality on it? I have a asus blu-ray drive from like 2015

Upscaling on a 4K screen is fantastic.

My PLEX looks great with 720p or 1080p content.

I don't know man I have a LG Qledled 55inch 4k and a 75 inch Oled 4k and 1080p and 4k content is noticeable differenciable I dont know if i am picky but I can clearly see if the difference in content. And I know streaming also does not have all 4k content I am still whiney ?

  11. P. S. I am not judging Plex or Kodi I am genuinely interested in knowing about this as i am very very new to this field.

So apart from the convenience that all of my media is on one single application why do I need Plex or Kodi. Googling around a bit these applications are in categories of media players which basically allow you to watch the media content you own whether be it movie, pictures or songs. But where do you obtain such media in a legal way to watch and enjoy. Because all of the movies and music are not streamable a lot of it is but not all so how do you obtain these. And in a perfect world if let's say a streaming service like Netflix has everything you can possibly stream in a simple user interface will there still be any point to Plex and kodi.

  12.  1) Make a Custom Laptop or an AIO i think there are a few laptop and AIO chassis which allow users to add off the shelf Mini ITX and Mini STX components

    2) Rate After Sales Customer Service of Different Brands in all categories of electronics like you did when you were comparing the different system integrators that series was a huge success. Given that you already have so much hardware such support calls wont be hard either. The most looked for Brands would be Razer vs Asus vs Dell vs Hp vs Acer vs Lenovo(Thinkpad) vs some newer brands like Eluktronics. A motherboard service call roundup would also be highly looked forward to. As well as the series star Jannet.

    3) Does RTX help in machine learning applications and training AIs giving it an edge over the 10 series cards. To test the results implied by Nvidia in the video linked below i quote "your neural net is trained mine is taking forever" this was followed with an object detection demo in the background (Time Stamp 0:32 - 0:37).

If you want a thin and light gaming laptop with good battery life while not costing too much, go for Tongfang QC7 aka Eluktronics Mag-15 / Maingear Element / XMG Fusion 15 / Aftershock Vapor 15 Pro. 1660Ti can be boosted to 2060 level while 2070MQ can be boosted to near 2070MP level with Tongfang GPU Boost

It is mostly for programming about 80% programming and 20% fooling around with random things.

  14. I am a Freshman studying computer science and AI minors. I plan to take AI as my subject for Post Grad.... I need a very nice laptop. I have no budget limitation. But the first thing I am stuck on is Apple or Windows I have been using windows for a long time and i have a pretty nice desktop too. If I go for Windows what would be your suggestion for a laptop with i7, Rtx 2060, 1 Tb SSD, high refresh rate screen and premium build quality, post sales service is also a consideration. And or if i should skip Windows for a laptop and get on the Apple Train?

    My Considerations for Laptops:-

Razer Blade 15 (It has pathetic service, only 512GB SSD and the base model does not come with the best display but has amazing everything else):-    2100$ (With Razer Care)

Dell Alienware M15 (It has pathetic cooling but everything else is unmatched) :-   1950$ (240HZ & No extras)

MSI GS65 (Worst Build Quality out of the bunch single channel memory with no user upgradability):-   2300$ (240HZ & No extras)

Asus Zepherus S GX502 (It performs best in all categories but the looks are a little unprofessional and people have mixed opinions on its service and only 512GB):-  1850$ (240HZ & No extras)

Apple MacBook Pro 16" (Well it is Apple, it has the best battery hands down and the only down side to a mac is inability to game also dongles for days) :-    2600/2800$(Depending on GFX)
