I inherited a pretty nice laptop a lenovo yoga pro 2 with an i7, and i thought the temps were a kind of high. They were fine just surfing the internet but when every you tried to do anything remotely intensive ( unzipping a .zip file for example) they would shoot up towards 80+. I put some artic silver on and instantly on boot up they were in the 70's and the fans were blowing. I thought maybe i put to much on so i did it again, this time with some artic MX-4 i think i might have used a little to much again. but now my thermals are around 55 not under load. I haven't run a stress test yet. should i just accept this laptop will have high temperatures because of its small size or should i give the paste one more try?
