Ok so this is an easy question i just redone my loop to start this years loop. To keep it healthy so to speak. But i want Lime green pastel ,but rrr i just put in EK clear coolant into it. Can i still use that empty a little on to my reserve bottle. Then put Ek Pastel EK Pastel Lime Green in ? Or do i need to put that into my bottle or get rid of it then get the r rrr umm Distilled water. Or can i keep some of my coolant. Is there pastel with out coolant and just throw it in ? After 1 year now on clear im happy to move on to a color and do Pastel. (NOTE) i do know i can add Dye ,but um i don't want clear. Family came thought up the color to get and my misses wants me to put pastel in my PC . Once again thanks for all the great feed back .

Rightio ok so ive just installed my new hardware and did the win-activate. Worked. good. so now i installed Asus Aura. Go into the Motherboard section of it change a setting ,more settings even more settings nothing . All tho turning it of works. Side question can i do music beat light change. ? Found the issue that made my pump look like it was running super slow . So from a now on ill check gpu block and cpu block for green gunk. I found a layer of green gunk in my cpu jet plate to cpu/bock/copper heat sink. i removed that with a quick rinse of water .them boom the water flow is now is super fast, fantastic. Solved. back to omg cooler temps. 70+ down to 40/50. this is something that is over looked i think. So no way am getting another pump this 1 works great.

I do plan on overclocking it quit a bit ,just to see it's limit . ive got the i5-3570k oc'd to 4.8ghz tho now i can't hold it there any more so 4.6 is what it's @ now. and games are only lasting for about 20mins or so then crash. unless i play something low intence on the cpu . i just got the funny feeling the Caps on the MB are starting to die or something. Anyway. Some of you are saying hold some are saying it's worth it ill see what more of you excellent forum members have to say . So thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it.

Ok so i was told to wait for this new generation of Cpu's Now i know that if i had the last gen Cpu's it would be a pointless to do this upgrade . Tho i have a really old set up: it's starting to show it's age. & lets face it a i5-3570k is how many gens behind ? Anyway i have this: Lga 1155 - i5-3570k DDR 3 16gb ram 1600mhz If i get this: Lga 1151 - i5 7600K DDR 4 16GB (2x8GB) 2666MHz (for now) ill get the rest after. Now with this said ive noticed it to be much more cheaper this way instead of a X99 set up .But have heard hardware tech Youtube channels say that if you have x99 the only difference from x99 to z270 is not worth it what so ever. So im in a bit of a pickle what to get. And i want to get a new set up going as i said b4 this set up i have now is very slugish . So some advice would be fantastic ,and thank you again. Yeah no luck. Im installing more and more games ,quake 1 2 3 all work. just that pesky security thing some games have on there disks.

ive tried chrome that thing is not me friendly xd. i love my drop down bookmark menu. i use that to go to sites. With rr Run a malware bytes scan. Have you tried different web clients? how you do that grr even now typing is slow. pissing me of lol.

My pc is running slow. not sure why . My specs : i5-3570k oc-4.8ghz GTX 970 g1 oc Asus p8z77-v_lk (1155 socket) 16gb ram 1600mhz ddr3 (corsair) Win 10-64 bit (home) SSD Sandisk 480gb (new) HHD WD Black 4tb (new) Firefox . did DL the 64bit (if it is tho im not sure pfft) 50.1.0 Custom water loop. 3 rads Are yeah so games runnig fine as id expect with this system ,while on firefox each page wants to reload ,takes time to load . Internet speed 100mb down 2bm up. 10-20 ping. Say if i want to click on something i have to wait for it to let me click on it .like an emote on twitch for eg: each tab re loads up. my benchmarks seem fine. done a ram check with-in windows found no issues with in the log it said it's fine. Now did notice as i did have my ram oc to 1800mhz that if i put it back down to 1600mhz it would run fine then glitch back to pausing again. So now im like ok what's causing this to happen. It's only a web browser it uses while on up to 40%( rarely it will go to 50%) - or lower if im on google only 1-2 % . ( ive been told 30% is normal ) this i know. Now ill mention this is a new formatt on the system im only on 1080p - 60hz . What are things i should be looking into to make certain that my hardware is fine. should i take out all but 1 ram stick sus it out then the next and so on. ? i can do that no issues . run the ram as an under clock to 1333mhz. ive put BIOS to Defaults then ran even tryed out XMP oc mode let the MB do it. Mainly planet coaster gta v the stuttering or screen tear . Overall im thinking of a x99 system now . 6 cores 12 threads . sounds good to me then later on a 1070. in planet coaster i pull up a menu, say paths menu do my thing with it then frames rates drop very low. im not sure ay (i know gpu) im thinking the caps on my MB could be coming to an end .Who knows the MB is over 5yrs old now with the PC turned on 24/7 only gets turned of when im cleaning it. That's a long duration. It's held up remarkably well. I only game on 1080p 60hz .So im thinking that things should be running a lot better then what they should be . Surely that now im gonna go with a x99 system things should improve. and thus the fact ill be streaming soon with OBS. With lots of things with in the scenes as well. that by it self takes up 20-30% cpu . Hope this helps an again thank you.

Ok some progress thank you. Delidded >? stock tim ? please tell me is that taking the lid of it then placing own thermal paste (if so ill never do this) tho bios hacking a GPU yes. . Ok now i under stand what you all are saying . So ok then how about i go x99 with a i7 6800K 6 core 12 threads so x99 system not z170.

R ok so my Planet Coaster game maxes my CPU @4.8ghz. Firefox uses 30% by it's self. And i feel like treating my self to a NON super upgrade. older games run fine newer tittles play crap. Tho still playable. Ok so, even with thee extra : 4 threads on the cpu an extra 1400 mhz on the ram it's DDR4 Higher Chip Set . All that means squat ? does it. it's gotta be better like cmon guys. Remember i said now NON super upgrade . b4 i had this i had : q9450 4gb ram LGA 775. Ok let me as you this if i can notice an upgrade from 2xgtx 660's to 1 gtx 970 .For me it felt like double. But this is just me. P.S. im not by any chance having a go, kinda sounds like it tho im not. Thanks again.

Ok this is what i have : i5 3570k Asus P8Z77- LK 16gb 1600mhz corsair ram. Right so if i get this Z170 MB and the i7 6700K also 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 @ 3000MHz How much of a noticeable difference will i see. Also i think the i5 3570k is starting to not handle new type of games i throw at it. Oh side question with win 10, it's activated tho will it be deactivated with the new stuff i put in ? this is a question that has got me god smacked since it binds with youre gear. My srs thought on that is if it's already activated it should stay ? . Anyway is it worth $883 oh that's Aus Dollar. Thanks in advance ,you guys always do the best and im very appreciative about it. Right so, my goal is to slowly add and fill the case .Next step will be a EK-CoolStream SE 360 (pending) . im going to be grabbing this and it's a year now so ill flush the system out and refill it. Later on and so forth add another EK-CoolStream SE 360 then add a EK CoolStream SE 120 But not sure on it the SE 120 .I may leave that out. So all im doing is adding over time. Plus it's something for me to fondle with while on X-Mass holidays.

Ok 1st the list of parts inside my case : (it's been up and running for a year now) - EK-Supremacy EVO - EK CoolStream SE 480 - EK-CoolStream XE 240 - EK-CoolStream SE 360 (pending) - EK-FC970 GTX WF3 - Nickel Water Block - EK-DDC 3.2 PWM Elite Edition - EK-RES X3 150 - Soft Tubing. So with all this would i need another pump ? as im not 100% sure if the flow of coolant / distilled water is enough . well circulation .you know what i mean. If i get the (pending) would i need another pump. that's all and thank you.

Quick question .Well all i want to do is make a list i can edit . Of all the PC Parts i have ,as a spreed sheet or something save it then go back into it when i need to . like how many EK 90 dregee fittings . so on kinda like this Column name | part | how many next line. any ideas . And thanks.

I advise you to run Display Driver Uninstaller it's a program that will remove all nvidia drivers ,2nd try another port on the back or each gpu and or try another cable. Best of luck.
