Most online merchants dont collect sales tax. Half the stuff I buy online the merchant doesnt collect. Michigan state law is clear on this point, merchants that have property with in the boarder of the state, which Newegg does not, have to collect tax. When the merchant doesnt collect its up to the purchaser (you) to report it to the state via the Income tax. Its a pretty simple concept. Newegg did nothing wrong, its not their fault.  

You're still required to pay taxes on purchases even if the merchant doesn't collect it themselves.

An Air Compressor is great... if you do other stuff that would require it, like using pneumatic tools.
If it's just to clean up dust for your PC and devices, the DataVac is perfect and it doesn't have the risk of damaging your devices like an Air Compressor does if you don't take care of it(like water droplets mixing in the air if you don't empty it properly)
