    PC Desk Chassis

that was my thoughts exactly. For the price you would pay for their desks you could by GTX 1080 and have a handful of cash left over. I'm rather asking if you would be interest in a desk case instead of the traditional case and what would you pay for it?
  2. Hey Guys, I'm just trying to get your thoughts/ideas/discussion about PC desks that house your components. You have probably seen these by Lian Li or the Cross Desk by Red Harbinger (if not I threw some links below), but these are very expensive. Lian Li's cheapest is around $800.00 U.S. and the Cross Desk is about $1700.00 U.S. I would like to see a clean looking pc desk that houses all that I could afford at a much cheaper price range around $150.00 to $300.00 and still had RGB lighting and what not. http://www.lian-li.com/en/products-computer-desk/#all/1/grid http://www.redharbinger.com/shop/cases/cross-desk-usa-only/ So my questions are... Would you want a PC Desk? How much would you spend for a desk/PC case combo? What would you expect it to do or include? Thoughts???
  3. Hey Guys, Check out these new SSDs if you looking for some good ones on a budget. They come in 120GB and 240GB. http://www.techspot.com/news/66484-toshiba-announces-entry-level-ocz-tl100-family-ssds.html
  4. What's up everyone! I am looking for suggestions. Budget may be around $1,000.00. I have been learning from Linus Tech Tips videos and other sources since back in May and though I thought I still carried some tech knowledge; I have a way to go. Nonetheless, I am trying to decide whether to build my own system or buy a laptop. Build my own: with a $1000.00 what's the best build I can go for and give me specs! Productivity over Gaming preferred. Laptop: Is $1,000.00 enough these days to compare to a $1,000.00 build? I would much rather have the mobility and start out with this as a newbie this way to be safe. Would rather have a stronger 4K editing/productivity purchase than gaming strong; 4K may not be in the budget I get that. Give me some links! Computer I have now is an old Toshiba I got for $800.00 just to get me through college and it is 7 or 8 years old now and I need an update!!! Appreciate the help!
  5. They can take all the time they need! I would just like to give a big thanks to everyone. I have subscribed on youtube, but this giveaway gave me the push to create a profile for this website; and I am glad I did. Earlier this summer I came across Linus Tech Tips on Youtube and it re-sparked my interest I have always have had with computers to go way deeper. I have almost caught up on all the TechQuickies and have learned so much through all the videos on all the channels. I look forward to the opportunity to build my own computer one day, but feel I still have much to learn and want to wait before messing up with a lot of money spent.
