  1. This post was supposed to be satire… failed a driver install and all hardware monitoring programs were reporting this
  2. Hey Guys! New to overclocking... how does this work?
  3. Used DDU to reinstall old driver and the problem still persisted for some reason. Even though before it was working fine. He's currently away but he is going to do a reinstall of windows when he gets home
  4. Okay well one PC restart later and it has gone back to the same behavior of running at 20 FPS. I don't know what is going on
  5. Hey All I am a friend of Pop here! For those of you wanting more information, here is what we found/what we did! PC Specs: EVGA 3090 Intel 19-10900k 32 gb RAM Z490 A-Pro Motherboard All games were running fine until he updated his graphics driver to the April 14, 2021 release from NVIDEA. Warzone was getting 170+ frames, rocket and fall guys were the other test subjects and they ran perfectly smooth. After the update, warzone frames dropped to 40 in the menue and then less than 30 in game. All settings were set the same as before the update. Rocket league and Fall Guys were running with stuttering. CPU Usage was about 50% and GPU was around 60% usage in game. The first thing I did was make sure the graphics adapter was set properly and it was. We used DDU to do a clean install of the current drivers and the issue still persisted. Then, DDU was utilized to install the previous graphics driver version released on March 30, 2021. The issue still persisted so X1 was used to update the card's bios and the March 30, 2021 drivers were installed. G-Sync, variable refreshrate, and hardware-accellerated graphics were disabled. Warzone began to behave normally as it did before. The Usage was the same as before. During the period of me writing this, I failed to even ask if the most current version of windows was installed. So, after the windows update, Warzone was checked and was running as expected/desired. Then, the most recent version of graphics drivers (April 14, 2021) was downloaded. The issue came back and warzone was running at 15-20 fps. Seems to be an issue with the driver itself. Only seems to be affecting him though. We attmepted to look elsewhere like NVIDEA's own forum but no one has posted any similar issue. EDIT: I run a 3080 with a Ryzen 3700X and have the most updated graphics drivers and it runs just fine.
  6. I found it! Thanks for the help man! It was under some stupid setting and I figured it out. Couldn't have done it without you!!!!
  7. Might you tell me where that would be? I can't seem to find it
  8. Hello! I just received my new Asus x570 motherboard in today and put it into my system. The fist time I booted it up it came up to bios and said it could not find a bootable OS. All my drives were detected but no OS. I went back and replugged in my devices, same thing. I plugged only my drive that I know has an OS on it and it sill would refuse to boot. Nothing can seem to get the OS to detect. Updating the bios did not fix it. Any tips? edit) Here are my specs ryzen 7 3700x 32gb Corsair vengence ram 4x8gb @ 3600 mhz Asus Tuf x570 Wifi Motherboard Two Crucial mx300 500gb SSD's Corsair 850w power supply
  9. To be honest that should have been my first move. So I just finished updating it and dealing with a heck of a lot more issues but im finally back into windows. I will keep an eye out for any more issues. Thanks!
  10. So, I run a Ryzen 3700X in an Asus Strix b450 motherboard with 32gb of 3400mhz ram (originally clocked at 3600 but had to be underclocked to run with my motherboard). Every 5th or 6th boot my processor will run at 0.5ghz requiring me to restart and sometimes re-load my bios profile to get it to work again. This started happening not too long ago and it never happened often enough. Now it is happening more often and would like to have an answer. I saw one other post about it quite a while ago and there wasn't really an answer. Was wondering if the lovely people on this forum could help! If you need any more information please let me know!
  11. Hey thanks for the help! I’ve got it running stable at 3400 @ 1.4 volts. It’s not exactly what I was hoping for but it was better than before. I’ll look into a better motherboard once I’m back into work.
  12. Just so I don’t mess things up my default memory voltage is at 1.35. What would be a maximum you would recommend?
  13. Alright I’ll try that out. So sometime soon I should upgrade to an x570? Any suggestions that won’t give my bank account a heart attack?
  14. Okay so I enabled that assuming that it was the same and the issue was still there
  15. So, I recently purchased 32gb of corsair vengence 3600 mhz ram for my ryzen 3700x. I am using an asus strix b450-f motherboard with the most updated bios and chipset drivers. I upgraded from 16gb of 3000mhz corsair vengence ram and never had this issue. I have gone an read all about this issue and how to fix it and done everything I could. The main fix I see being used is to "enable the XMP profile." My bios does not have an XMP option available as far as I can see. I am at wits end about how to troubleshoot and came here for help. If you need anything from me let me know and I will provide it as soon as I can.
