The pc turns on now but i still get the Disc Read Error i'm going to test with an other Drive and see if that helps

h i got a post to A disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart Error and i know the Disc is good and working

Greetings friends, i have a problem with a new system i am building, i had problems booting but i cleared the CMOS and got a boot to the BIOS, all good and when i connect my Hard Drive the system will turn on for 3 secs and then turn off, i remove the Disc and it will boot to the BIOS normaly, i have a 525w power supply, it has 2 configurations <115 Volts> and <230 Volts> it is currently on 115 volts, when i change to 230 to see if its a voltage problem i get nothing on my screen but the fans turn on and there is no beep sounds, These are the components in the system.. MOB-Asus M2N68-AM PLUS RAM- MEGA 1GB DDR2 CPU- AMD ATHLON II PSU- ILLUSION 525W <MODEL : LBX525> HardDrive-SEA GATE 1TB BARRACUDA 7200 GPU-NIVIDIA GeFORCE 8600 GT (Haven't installed yet, waiting to fix this problem first) ^^ And might not be important but i'm using a Dell monitor.. <_<

i play games from bf3 (fine with mid settings) to super mario bros editing wise i do sonyvegas,after effects and cinema 4D (montage) (intros) and record pc gameplay etc and i use windows 7 pro but was going to instal wind 8 on this build

isnt a 8350 better then that xeon and they're at the close price range

i might upgrade to a 760 or 770 in the future

i would like to OC i had a build in mind that was with all the parts i listed above plus these cpu>Amd Fx 8350 MB> asus sabertooth>case>coolmaster haf 912 cpu cooler> hyperevo 212 > psu> moudule one 750w bronze cert what are your opnions on that build

no.. i need both case and psu >psu something i can trow like a 760 at it and be fine with oc

alright i know what overclock is just didnt know the short term for it

ill upgrade later on and please explain what OC is sorry
