  2. Hey everyone, I was planning on updating my build when the new pascal GPUs come out, but I also wanted to move everything from my current case into a much smaller one. I really like the look of the NCASE M1, so my plan was to get an EVGA Z97 Stinger motherboard and place my 4770k, ram, etc in that case. I was thinking it would be good to overclock my CPU to help keep it's performance up. This is a much better option than spending money on a new CPU. What I am worried about is that the case won't allow for enough cooling (or even a powerful enough PSU) to overclock the system. Both options of air and water cooling are possible in the case, but it would for sure be easier to place an air cooler in there. Any opinions on this? Should I get a larger case that has more airflow? The Corsair 380T is also another case that I would consider using for a small build, too. Thanks for the help!
  3. Fallout 4? Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, GTA 5... All of them perform better than Fallout 4 has for me. That's probably Bethesda's fault for making a bad PC port, though.
  4. Fallout 4 a better game because it has a lot of players? That's some flawed logic... The Witcher has had far less releases in that people who bought Fallout did because they are big fans of Bethesda games in general. And if you are counting pure numbers, GTA 5 is a better and more successful launch than either games. 360,000 players on Steam alone. That doesn't include the people who bought the game outside of Steam because Steam isn't required to play GTA. Sales including all versions of the game would mean that it is the best game ever made and Fallout 4 is nowhere near the quality that GTA 5 is. You could also compare Steam reviews, where Fallout 4 is the lowest rated game in the series. It doesn't even have 80% positive on Steam. That's much lower than F3 and NV and even Skyrim. The Witcher on the otherhand has a 94% review score. Way higher than Fallout 4. People must think the game is much better. Metacritic scores also agree that The Witcher is a better game.
  5. Can't get 60 fps with a 780 Ti at 1080p, the game doesn't support SLI so I can't use my second one, no support for ultrawide or multi monitor setups so the hud stretches like crazy, poor utilization of my hardware.... Best PC release ever.
  6. Razer's quality hasn't been good for a while now. I've had so many problems with my recent Razer purchases that I've switched away from them entirely.
  7. FPS seems to be much better with settings turned up from what I had before the new drivers. That's good.
  8. I am not a 970 owner, but there are a couple settings you can change to improve FPS. Turn 'Foliage Visibility Range' to high and 'Shadow Quality' to medium. If you are still below 60 FPS, turn off HairWorks. Also, make sure that your game is running in fullscreen, not borderless windowed. The game automatically sets it to that.

  10. I will use vsync if my game's fps is high enough and vsync won't cause stuttering. Also, I'll use it if there is really bad screen tearing.
  11. Just order it from NCIX and pay them the $50 builders fee.
  12. Make sure your refresh rate is properly set and make sure that vsync mode isn't set to half.
  13. As everyone else has said, around $200. You can get some cheaper options for lower, for sure. AOC is a brand you might want to check out if you are looking to save some money. I've seen people purchasing them.
