Could you list the prices alongside the parts so we know where we are in your budget range?

Also...and this is primarily personal preference. If you are going to have a "storage" drive I (personally) wouldn't justify an NVMe. If it truly is for storage of secondary media (tv shows, movies, music, etc) there is not any performance to be gained from a drive that fast. In the use case I would just go for a larger HDD. If that storage drive were for games, then perhaps a traditional SSD would suffice, unless there are specific games that have long periods of loading screens. Just my 2 cents.

Would the modi 2 work similarly? Only for sake of maintaining one brand of product together?

I appreciate the idea, I'm just a little weary of using such as cheap device for a mid tier headset and amp. I didnt think to look into adapters though, may be another avenue!

Early adopter, for better or worse. Everything is setup and working well this far, but I have one thing I cannot get set how I like yet, fan speeds and temperatures. Based on the BIOS, my CPU idle speeds are around 30-35C. But in Gigabyte's Smart Fan 5 software, it reports idle speeds of anywhere from 48-65C, and this fluctuates very often, not staying at any particular temp. With this said, the fans are correlating, often going from 60% to 80 or even 100% use. This fan jump is over the course of MAYBE 1-2 seconds.

Frankly, this far it is annoying, and I am trying to determine if that old 20C discrepancy exists again and this is being misinterpreted. If anyone has suggestions on how to move forward I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

*If i can get more data I will attach it here when I find it.

EDIT/UPDATE: I did a quick recording of my temps and fan speed using the Gigabyte SIV software and will attach below
