    New Headsets

Good Afternoon all, I see there are a ton of separate questions regarding headsets, and no real method to the madness, possibly because everyone has such varying ideas on what is important in a headset. That being said I am looking for a new headset to replace my Turtle Beach X41s for PC gaming (Unfortunately using them wireless is difficult at best for PC gaming with a mic) Basically speaking I am looking for a headset/mic that will meet as many of my wishlist checks as possible I really don't know much about what specs make a headset good, or bad which is why I decided to ask. $150 or under (Preferably under) Must have a Mic Good sound quality Wireless (I've ruined more wired headsets than I like to admit by tripping over the cord) Minimal sound leak. Does not necessarily need to be a closed set, but something that isn't going to irritate my room mate like my x41s do (ha!) I like bass one of the major reasons I have had TB's instead of just cheapy headsets. Surround sound is nearly a must, but I can compromise if needed. I realize most of the answers I get here will likely be opinion, but I'm mostly out for good ideas. I don't really care about looks. I'd rather pay for Quality. Also I was curious if anyone knew if the Logitech G930 headsets were closed or open they look decent enough. Any Opinions on the Psyko Kryptons (I realize they're not closed) Thanks ahead of time!
  3. I really would like to avoid using the AUX if possible, the whole point in having a Wireless headset was to avoid wrapping myself up in cords haha. Thank you for the ideas though, your help is very much appreciated!
  4. I apologize it's the Micro II not the Amigo
  5. The mic is connected into the USB 3.0 jacks on my Mobo. (Have alternatively tried the USB2.0 jacks on the case) It is connected via the Amigo II which uses the Digital In for the mic.
  6. As far as I can tell, it accurately detects everything else. (even when I switch things to different ports.
  7. I removed the headset, then all 3 sound drivers in my Device manager, then re-installed the 2 from my system. I then plugged in the headset again to allow it to re-install its drivers, but I still get the same generic "USB Sound Device" driver instead. Can you elaborate a bit on the OS detection part?
  8. Currently I have it set up with the Amigo II, which is one of the accepted methods. I should also Qualify that the exact same layout works flawlessly on the laptop about 3ft from the computer It's not working on hehe. I assume I'm probably missing something on my New PC that the laptop has. Cant for the life of me figure out what though.
  9. Good day all, This weekend I build a new PC, and was in the process of enjoying said new PC on Battlefield 4, when I realized that my Turtle Beach x41s mic was not working. When I check the "Sound" section the headset itself is only recognized as a "USB Sound Device" under playback, and not at all under Recording. I currently have the headset connected via 2 USB 3.0 Jacks in the rear of my PC using the Amigo II adapter, and the normal USB plugin for the base power. It appears in Device manager the same way, as a "USB Sound Device", I have tried finding drivers for it, but because it's not recognized even that proves to be difficult. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but any help would be appreciated. on a side note, I have tried restarting, and switching ports. Thanks a bunch.
