  1. Hi, I recently stumbled on this thread again and noticed that my Segotep GP600G was put in C tier low priority with the following explanation: I remember it being higher or at least not in the low priority category back when I bought it 2 years or so ago. I'm guessing mine is v1 since it has "V.1.0" after the S/N. What does non-LLC resonant mean exactly and should I be worried? Attached pic of the PSU
  2. The 34 (non-esports) was 27 euro or so, not much more than the esports one. Unfortunately can't seem to find it locally.
  3. Hi, I'm looking to to cool my R5 1600 AF and try some OC. Two coolers at nice price are the DeepCool GAMMAXX GTE V2 (22 euro) and the Arctic 34 eSports (1 fan, 29 euro). Would these be appropriate cooling for my CPU? Which one is better for the price? I'm leaning toward the Deepcool for the RGB and lower price but if Arctic is significantly better I'd get it instead.
  4. So in terms of price to storage capacity here are my general options where I live: Seagate BarraCuda 4TB 5400rpm 256MB ST4000DM004 for ~100 euro Toshiba P300 4TB 64MB 7200rpm HDWD240UZSVA for ~100 euro Seagate BarraCuda 3TB 5400rpm 256MB ST3000DM007 for ~83 euro Seagate BarraCuda 3TB 7200rpm 64MB ST3000DM001 for ~75 euro Toshiba P300 3TB 7200rpm 64MB HDWD130UZSVA for ~72 euro Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200rpm 256MB ST2000DM008 for ~62 euro Western Digital Blue 2TB 64MB 5400rpm WD20EZRZ for ~60 euro Toshiba P300 2TB 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache HDWD120UZSVA (HDWD130UZSVA) for ~57 euro From the replies I'm getting it seems like people are leaning toward Seagate.
  5. Hi, I recently built a PC with a 256 GB SSD for my OS and apps but I now need more space for games and movies. What are good options for high capacity budget HDDs? I read there's problems with certain drives that are using SMR technology but I'm not sure how much of an impact it will have on my use case. There are a few 2-3 TB options within my budget but I don't know how they compare: Toshiba P300 2 (or 3 TB) 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache HDWD120UZSVA (HDWD130UZSVA) Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200rpm 256MB ST2000DM008 The 2 TB drives are a similar price but apparently the Seagate one uses SMR, however it has 4x more cache. Which one would be better for gaming and movies? Edit: Here's some drives and prices within my budget and location (Bulgaria): Seagate BarraCuda 4TB 5400rpm 256MB ST4000DM004 for ~100 euro Toshiba P300 4TB 64MB 7200rpm HDWD240UZSVA for ~100 euro Seagate BarraCuda 3TB 5400rpm 256MB ST3000DM007 for ~83 euro Seagate BarraCuda 3TB 7200rpm 64MB ST3000DM001 for ~75 euro Toshiba P300 3TB 7200rpm 64MB HDWD130UZSVA for ~72 euro Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200rpm 256MB ST2000DM008 for ~62 euro Western Digital Blue 2TB 64MB 5400rpm WD20EZRZ for ~60 euro Toshiba P300 2TB 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache HDWD120UZSVA (HDWD130UZSVA) for ~57 euro
  6. Any suggestions what I should check physically on the Vega or what test I can run (hopefully something that can run off of a flash drive)?
  7. How much of a $/Euro difference would you put between the cards? The 1070 seller wants to send it with a 15min test period which will up the delivery cost and the other 1070 offers are around 150 euro. The Vega I will be able to test in person so I feel more comfortable with that I think.
  8. Hey, I'm looking at used GPUs and towards the top of my budget are the Vega 56 and GTX 1070. The models I've found are PowerColor Red Devil Vega 56 (165 euro) and Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce (130 euro). Which one would you recommend? I'm leaning toward the Vega personally.
  9. Is 100 euro for rx580 8gb second hand a lot for Europe? I looked on ebay as well and couldn't find anything lower than that.
  10. Those cards are much more expensive new and used where I live, my options for gpu second hand look like this: RX 580 4GB ~65 euro RX 580 8GB ~100 euro GTX 1060 6GB ~105 euro GTX 1070 8GB ~150 euro GTX 1070ti 8GB ~200 euro Vega 56 ~200 euro Vega 64 ~230 euro GTX 1080 250+ euro I'm looking to stay under 200 euro if possible.
  11. Hey, I'm currently building a new gaming rig in Bulgaria. I'm mostly getting new parts but I'll be looking to get 2nd hand GPU since prices are very high otherwise. This is the build I'm going for: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600AF (may OC a bit to get to 4.0 GHz or close); GPU: I haven't decided but I'm looking at used options around Vega 56 or 1070 TI performance; RAM: TEAMGROUP T-FORCE VULCAN Z DIMM KIT 16GB TLZGD416G3200HC16CDC01; MB: MSI B450-A PRO MAX SSD: Kingston KC600 256GB Will probably add a couple of fans and a HDD for more storage later on. From a post on jonnyguru I narrowed it down to these which are within my budget: Segotep GP600G, 500W, 80 PLUS Gold (60 eur) Deepcool DQ550ST 550W, 80 Plus Gold (61 eur) Corsair CX Series CX550 550W Bronze (CP-9020121) (74 eur) As far as case the only decently good looking options in my budget are from Deepcool: E-Shield, Matrexx 50 Matrexx 55 Mesh What are your opinions on these cases/PSUs?
  12. Hi, Is the Segotep GP750G, 80+ Gold, 650W PSU also B+ tier like the GP500/600/700G which are in the tier list? Here's how it looks on the shop page if that helps: Otherwise the this is the overall build and some PSUs I found. If you have any recommendations on amount of power I'd need would be nice:
