Hey there,
First thing, has a 3.5" internal drive when its suddenly got said that its failing it then stopped being recognized and now Im trying to backup at least some of the data of it.
Getting I/O error whenever im trying to do any transfer(windows and linux),any ideas that could help me?
Secondly,I had an external 2.5" HDD as a backup for the data since it's pretty important for me.
I don't know who and what happened to it,but it has the awful micro-usb 3.0 connector and it got broken.I was like oh sure ill just open the enclosure and connect it normally through the SATA interface but NOPE.
It has the usb 3 interface soldered straight to the the board, without a connecting one.
The data inside is probably OK since the drive is fairly new but any ideas on that aswell? should I contact the manufacture and maybe they will be able to help me recovering the data?(drive is out of the noticeably open enclosure)
Thanks alot
