  1. Just realized, the broken part is just the 3.0 part and i can still connect normal micro usb cable but its still wont recognize it any idea bout that?
  2. Hey there, First thing, has a 3.5" internal drive when its suddenly got said that its failing it then stopped being recognized and now Im trying to backup at least some of the data of it. Getting I/O error whenever im trying to do any transfer(windows and linux),any ideas that could help me? Secondly,I had an external 2.5" HDD as a backup for the data since it's pretty important for me. I don't know who and what happened to it,but it has the awful micro-usb 3.0 connector and it got broken.I was like oh sure ill just open the enclosure and connect it normally through the SATA interface but NOPE. It has the usb 3 interface soldered straight to the the board, without a connecting one. The data inside is probably OK since the drive is fairly new but any ideas on that aswell? should I contact the manufacture and maybe they will be able to help me recovering the data?(drive is out of the noticeably open enclosure) Thanks alot
  3. also tried headphone or microphone and still cant see the device
  4. Hey I recently bought myself a new laptop,it has a single(combo)3.5 audio jack while my headset has one separate one for the headphone and microphone. Also came preloaded with realtek hd audio so when i plug it in (with a Y splitter) and choose headset I can hear from the headphones but not use the microphone. Any help with that?
  5. Well I want to use my headphones with a mic(combo thing) and I'm going to use it stationary so I want it connected to the dongle all the time and when I'm playing I'll just connect it
  6. Hey there,I guess that's the correct place for it. Im looking for a type c (not thunderbolt)dongle or even a dock which has audio jacks for both a mic and headphones. It'all be even greater if it also has hdmi and wired Ethernet beside the ports. would love to hear your recommendations if there are any
  7. bump Is there a way to connect the HDMI just for video and something like aux for audio at the same time on my TV? Would an easy fix just be getting a really cheap gpu that has HDMI on it?

  9. Hey there Im trying to use an old pc as my media center and connect it to my HDTV. It has an i3 2100 and an iGPU on win 10(dont really need more than that),the thing is the board only has DVI and VGA and im trying to use HDMI. So i got myself a DVI to HDMI adapter since i also saw in a few places online that DVI can use audio as well. Anyway the thing is that its not working and i guess i have to change something in the setting in order for it to work at all. could really use your help thx
  10. Hey there, I've been dealing with a dust problem with my Corsair 400R,i currently have the top(2x140mm) and side fan spots open but all the dust it getting in from there. Now,im not planning on putting on fans there just yet but I do thing getting a dust filter will do the job even if there are no fans there currenly. Has anyone here tested or used those really cheap Ebay fan filters?I mean i dont really want to spend the kind of money that Corsair is offering for the offical ones when there is no fans there.
