As the title mentions, my grandma is relatively tech savy for being 85 and understands how youtube, netflix and other streaming services work and do like to use them. But for being 85 years old, old habits die hard and having a tv is something she prefers. She's too used to using a remote control and likes the fact that a channel is right there once she turns on the tv. If I were to set her up with a PC and give her a mouse and keyboard I am pretty sure I am just opening Pandora's box of questions and it would surely impact my grandma's experience. She also use to use a LG tv and simply loves the experience of a smart tv.
So I would like to get her a Christmas present with something along the lines of a LG tv with ThinQ installed, but looking at the price tag it seems a bit out of my budget. Are there any other streamlined pc products that is user friendly and has access to local tv channels? Was thinking something like roku but as I'm based in Hong Kong it doesn't really help.
Many thanks for any advice!
