  1. This photo really needs a lot more context...
  2. I have heard that the Samson meteor is pretty good and is within that price range.
  3. Using a DSLR for video is fine.... Until you wants continues autofocus! Then you should just get a good quality compact camera or a camcorder.
  4. And Windows 2000 4 SPs Windows NT had 6 SPs And WTF Windows ME had 8 SPs!!! So the order would be: NT=6 2000=4 ME=8 XP=3 Vista=2 7=1
  5. I didn't even know who KSI was. But after watching this video i can say that i completely agrees with you! (remember this is my opinion - you are allowed to have you own if you disagree)
  6. Instead of just focusing on the screen size that I prefer, isn't it wonderful that there is so many different smartphones so you can get one that suits you just right? (screen, battery, conetivaty, camera, ect.) That being said i like the about 4" screen size, and for pixel density i can care less. My Nokia 808 only has a nHD screen (nHD means a ninth of the total pixels of HD - 3 times fewer pixels both vertical and horizontal. I think nHD is some kind of internal joke and believe it means non-HD ) But i don't care since it is not something that i notice
  7. I love naming of the Core 2 Extreme series. It is just like: This is too EXTREME for you, all mah cores TO THE EXTREME!!!
  8. Just sounds like genneral Windows weirdness. Just do a reinstall
  9. First off I am going to say that I am a very basic smartphone user all I need my phone to do is messaging, music, and photos/video However when it comes to photos and video I really want a good camera in my phone. At the moment I have a Nokia 808 Pureview and I do not want the Nokia 1020 because of no expandable memory and user accessible file system So both from the fact that Sony has been the second major player in the camera phone battle since the beginning and also because some of the very few test photos of the Z1 looks pretty good (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/legal/testresults/xperia-z1/#camera-overall) Do you think that the Sony Z1 is going to match or rival the Nokia 1020 or 808 in terms of photo and video quality?
  10. I think most people don't hate Jack and Keys. I Have no problem with them, but their Nvidia booth video was terribly I can watch Linus and Slick ramble about pointless stuff for hours because i know how the normally makes videos, i know how they normally do an unboxing etc. But I don't what kind of videos that Jack and Keys normally make. If they just start rambling about random stuff it just seams disorganizing because i don't know what i am going expect. Jack and Keys just has more stuff to learn. If they realizes that then in a few mont their videos should inprove
  11. Its a BTC Dome Switch... It it basically a rubber dome keyboard with a peace of plastic over the dome. Video By vwestlife skip to 3:38 if the link doesn't start the video at that point
  12. On thing is sure Apple isn't going to be making pixel oversampling, There is a reason why my 808 is about 18mm thick If you want many pixels you need a larger sensor, and with a larger sensor you need a greater distance from the lens to the sensor itself. And since i don't think that the iPhone 5S (or whatever) will be over twice as thick as the iPhone 5 I don't think that would happen.
  13. Never played the game but i own sound track
  14. Check the settings on the TV. If you TV has a "Game"mode try selecting that. The "Game"mode applies less or non post post processing by the TV (If you want a "true" image the avoid post processing by all costs) Then since it is a Samsung there are problay more settings you have to turn off (like "Smooth motion" "Color enhance" Dynamic brightness)
  15. Have you used this camera before? Some cameras video just don't work with certain editing software. and does the raw video file(s) play fine i another video player or editor? You could try to encode the raw video into a different format and the import it in Vegas
  16. They don't expire until you use them
  17. Some older LCD non LED backlit monitors (like mine) need a few seconds to turn on. Its about 3-4 seconds for my monitor (HP 2510i from 2009)
  18. Analog video is waaaaaayyyy to underrated . As soon as the HD and digital switch-over took in place people has begun to look back at the older analog video standards and think of them as crap. Even with Composite you can actually get very sharp video with good source material (at least with PAL don't know about NTSC) BTW VGA is still crap for resolutions above about 1280X1024
  19. First game i remember playing was a "Tank" game on a Windows 3.1 PC "Tank game" = Top down view controlling a square and shooting white squares at other infinity spawning enemy square tanks It looked something like this (Bad MS Paint drawing based on memory)
  20. Cutting sim cards with scissors is all about the thong angle!
  21. Why? The Gorilla glass series can be bent pretty far without cracking, If you have seen a video of a Samsung galaxy S4 being hit on the screen you can see the gorilla glass (3) flex alot and the actual screen below the glass crack, but the glass over is still intact.
  22. Nice photos. But would also like if someone else with a Xperia Z posts a few photos. If I ware to go over to Android then i would probably get a Sony Xperia. Both because Sony always have made great camera phones, but also because they have better built quality than other companies *cough* samsung *cough*
  23. I don't know but for video editing and photo shop i don't think that memory is that big of an issue (i think its more about the GPU itself) But still curious to know.
  24. Love ninite.com Has been using it for over 2 years (sad that they don't have Flash player anymore. Adobe probably got angry that it skipped their crapware)
  25. Just get a Seagate or WD 2,5" HDD (and don't pick one of the older slight cheaper models that only has 8MB cache) If you want something a little fancier then you could get a Hybrid drive (HDD + about 16GB of SSD cache in one drive)
