  1. 1. Try re-plugging every cable on both ends, make sure they are plugged in properly 2. re-seat every component making sure they are seated properly. Something might not be plugged in correctly.
  2. So I'm moving files, music and some photos, from an old Kingston micro sdxc card to a Samsung Evo plus micro sdxc. Because, I just did not think, I moved the files to my pc and then to the new micro sd card. Instead of using the micro sd card adapter and reader, i.e. card in phone to card in pc. ? I'm using cut and paste, and I just happened by chance to see that my recycling bin had stuff in it. Turns out the pasting part of the process was moving from pc to the destination card AND the recycling bin. Not sure if it's duplicating as well. Will check on it after it completes pasting everything. But wtf is going? Why is cut and paste duplicating and trashing a copy of my files?
  3. you are all sorted then. Should be cheaper or really good reasonably priced cards from AMD in a few weeks.
  4. if you're looking at just gaming going for current Intel i5 is perfectly good. The 8600k had good reviews from what I remember. It will be an improvement over 3rd gen. And there might be a slight price drop in July when AMD releases their hardware, so i'd wait til then to save a little cash. But if you're looking for the best in that tier, wait for the reviews on the new AMD and then decide.
  5. What's your budget and target gaming settings (maxed out 1080p/1440p? 60fps/+100fps etc.)? Are you needing the gpu now or can you wait a few weeks? Because new AMD cards are coming out soon. And they are advertised to be competitive with 2070 and probably cheaper too.
  6. PIA, LTT/WAN show should have a discount for it as well
  7. maybe you could get a wrap for the mouse?
  8. As far as I can tell, in the ASUS x470 bios, under Qfan, there's no way to have 0rpm for PWM fans. What's up with that? I know in Gigabytes Z370 that was possible. I did it for all my fans, even the one's on the aio. The pc was almost dead quiet until a certain temp was reached. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. So i am trying to find wireless earphones that come with ear-hooks like the Jlab Epic Air True Wireless. And according to reviews it seems to be the best, true wireless, good audio and ear-hooks. But I want to double check before I commit. Hope someone can help. Cheers
  10. So i did this when i got my 2nd monitor. I forgot to plug the power chord into the back of my monitor. ? Aside from that as Gegger said, make sure your signal is the right one. There should be some controls, usually underside of panel, that will let you configure the monitor. Had to do that with my 2nd monitor when it notified me that it could not detect signal.
  11. considering the case, what looks like stock cables and you haven't pinched them . I figure you've done well. The only way to do better is to get custom length cables. Which would help clear out the psu area. But getting custom length cables = higher level of scrutiny.
  12. pretty sure it's Lian Li building the pc, Razer's just licensing their brand. So if Lian Li is good build quality, it's probably good build quality.
  13. When i stream the usual source of frame drops/skips is stuff updating in the background or had just finished downloading/installing. Restarting my pc solves it.
  14. regarding storage you'll be fine, the motherboard comes with 6 sata 6Gb/s connectors, you won't be able to use 2 if you use M.2, so you are left with 4 which is fine, for you situation.
  15. So someone on reddit (Savar1s) produced a solution that worked. 1. unplug monitor -> 2. unplug mice -> 3. plug monitor -> 4. plug mouse -> 5. if not resolved repeat 1-3 and change mouse. turns out my logtech g502 has degraded. A shame, it was a comfortable mouse for daily use.
  16. @Indiana Cones i've tried your solution and it did not work, unfortunately.
  17. @TooUnskilled unfortunately the re-applying dpi didn't work @Indiana Cones Synapse is def. up-to-date, i'll try restarting it specifically. But i don't think that'll work since i've already restarted pc the 1st time this occurred.
  18. @TooUnskilled not sure how dpi profiles woulf effect, but i'll give it a go.
  19. @mxk. the Naga is plugged into motherboard, the g502 is plugged into usb 3.0 hub which is pluggeed into motherboard.
