  1. I got a bunch of new case fans for my pc and noticed they were ramping up a bunch during idle. That made me see that my CPU on startup is at 60C. I do have an Artic Liquid Freezer II 240 so I thought it would be better. The load is only around 10% but the idle clock speed is at like 4200MHz. That sounds pretty high but I honestly have no idea how to change it lol. Is this an issue with the clock being too high or maybe my AIO could be starting to fail?
  2. I just updated my S22+ to android version S906USQU2BVKD today and now every time I try to connect to my Wifi it says connection failed. This is just for my phone as other devices will still connect. I can still connect to cellular data. When I try to make phone calls the call goes through but the phone app never shows up so I can hear the person but cant end the call or anything. I tried restearting my phone and it hasn't helped. Has anyone else had these issues? How do I go back to the working version of android?
  3. We recently moved into a new build house and have been having issues with breakers tripping. Our old house there have never been an issue, I would be able to run my computer and 2 3D printers all at once. Now moving also came with an upgrade to my setup, a 3070ti and a 850W Gold power supply. So I don't know if there is something wrong the breakers in the house or if tripping a breaker is something a power supply can do?
  4. Ooo Now that you mention it, that card is using a riser cable. Maybe its just an issue with that and it needs a better quality one.
  5. I've been having this issue with my 2070 Super where the performance is either terrible or normal depending on the start up. Some times I start the computer up and its all super slow and stuttery with games only doing like 15 fps, but if I restart it it usually goes back to normal (and if it doesn't I just restart it again). My screen also sometimes either just freezes or goes black but I can still hear audio, and doesn't come back without forcing a restart. Temperatures on the card are normal always under 60 C and I have clock rate set at 1995 MHz, but the GPU usage does say its at 98% when its stuttering (nothing particular doing it, everything is just taking up more %). I've made sure graphics drivers are all up to date, I even tried rolling back to some older ones but that didn't help. Windows is up to date. I thought maybe it was a bug with windows so I did a complete reformat of my drive but its still happening so I'm thinking it hardware related. I don't know if this is an actual issue with the GPU or maybe an issue with the power supply, but voltages on the card are also normal. 6. I've given that a try and now it seems even worse. Just sitting in the menu of a game puts the GPU at 80% and the computer runs so slow its unusable
  7. I've recently started to have terrible performance on my system, specs below. My GPU usage is idling at 30% with "Desktop Window Manager" taking up 10 - 20% of that (Client Server Runtime Process is the next highest at 6%). I try to play a game like Overwatch on the lowest settings and it maxes out the GPU usage and only runs at like 40 fps (Clock is normal at 1980 MHz and 1044mV). I've made sure that windows and nvidia drivers were updated. I tried turning on and off game mode in windows, no difference.
  8. I was tasked to look for a ~$300 USD laptop for a graduation gift. I don't know much about the laptop side of computers, but I'm guessing that all the laptops around 300 are bad. Now I do have some old laptops from back in the day and I was thinking it would be better to just replace the old HDD and ram with an SSD and just better ram. The laptop I have is a Toshiba Satellite C855D-S5135NR. It has an A6 4400M, 6 GB of ram, and a 640GB HDD. I was hoping just putting in 16GB and 1 TB ssd would bring it back to life (and a new battery too). The laptop would just be used for college work, and by that I mean opening google chrome, watching videos, and writing word documents. No gaming, autocad, programing, or anything like that.
  9. When ever I try to open up file explorer it just crashes while it was "working on it". The only fix I found is temporary and its to restart the computer. I've tried changing what File Explorer opens to, clearing file explorer history, deleting the cache, and rebuilding the search index. Do you guys know of what else might be able to fix it? I did also make sure it was on the latest build for windows and all the drivers are up to date.
  10. Crazy how you say it's bad but VRM temps never go above 55C during aida64, maybe it is that feature Artic designed to specifically cool vrm. But again this isn't to do with VRM temps, it's to do with the temps of the actual cpu.
  11. You're supposed to be able to get decent OCs from this board. Vrm cooling is adequate and the Freezer 2 has a fan built into the block to cool the vrm as well. But I'm not trying to do any overclocking at the moment anyways. It is the Rev 1 of the board, but I don't think that would affect the actual temps of the cpu. HWinfo gives the same temps as HWMonitor.
  12. I finally replaced my 1600x with a 3900x. The 3900x will idle around 55C usually and max out at just about 80C on stress tests. I haven't done any manual overclocking but its running at 4.26GHz. I have an Artic Liquid Freezer 2 240mm. I know these temps aren't that worry some and I know that it would run hotter than the 1600x (that was around 35C), But i thought they would be a bit cooler, and this doesn't leave me any room really to put in a manual overclock. I've tried reseating it and even getting the fancy Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, but it hasn't changed temps at all. To read temps im just looking at the Temp Package(Node 0) on HWMonitor. But i guess this is a second side question, what Temperature is right on HWMonitor? CPU Temperature, Chipset Temperature, or Package (Node 0)? ((See image attached)) Motherboard is a ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming
  13. Desktop Windows Manger uses 30% of my 2070S and kills fps in any games I play. I have my drivers and windows to the most recent update. I've disabled hardware acceleration in windows but that makes my computer stutter and lag like crazy.
  14. These are cable extensions to plug into the existing cables on your power supply. This will work with the RM1000X, just do not plug them directly into the power supply.
  15. idk I've just seen some threads online, i don't have the game
  16. I want to note the new watchdogs game is apparently running terrible on a ton of systems at the moment.
  17. I'm using a 2070 Super and a 1600x at the moment. I mostly game (at 1080p) but do stream and video edit from time to time. I'm not sure if those extra cores would be really beneficial too me.
  18. 144hz at 1080p. I have a 1600x and 2070S currently.

  20. I know this is complete speculations because the 5600x isn't out yet. However my friend offered me his 3900x for the same price as the the 5600x is going to be ($300). I have a b450 board so I would have to wait till January for the 5600x anyways. On paper it looks like the 3900x is still better, same base clock but more cores/threads, but i have no idea.
  21. Is it an amd or intel cpu? did you make sure to release the bracket
  22. Yeah I was using 8x2 at 3200mhz before but I guess I was trying to push it too hard to do 8x4 3200. I'll definitely look into a 3600 or 3600xt for prime day coming up or black friday
  23. I have 32Gb of 3200mhz ram right now with my 1600x, but I can't get to the full 3200mhz speed with my current cpu. I've been told this is because of limits from the first gen ryzen cpu so was wondering what I should up it to to get that full 3200mhz? I know the new gen is being announced super soon so I wouldn't get anything till after that. I prefer to stay ryzen because I don't want to have to get a new motherboard too.
