  1. Anyone know if the xeon x3430 LGA 1156 will work with the asus p7p55d-e pro motherboard
  2. Here is a nice build for $1409 PCpartpicker link - http://pcpartpicker.com/list/VBd6QV
  3. Because he forgot to mention a motherboard in his original post so i found some really nice (and stupidly expensive, but anyways) motherboards for him. That plain and simple but I can offer him a whole system pretty fast too.
  4. What motherboard are you going to use? If you are going to spend that much you should go with a motherboard that supports DDR4 here is a list of expensive but great motherboards Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero Price Around $230 ATX / Up to 64 GB Dual Channel DDR4 3600 OC Gigabyte Z170 GA-Z170X-UD5 Price Around $159 ATX / Up to 64BGB Dual Channel DDR4 3466 OC MSI Z170A Gaming M7 Price Around $195 ATX / Up to 64 GB Dual Channel DDR4 3600 OC All of the motherboards listed here are LGA 1151 So that means they all have 6th gen intel processor support.
  5. DHelios is right you need to decide on what you are going to use the laptop for and your price range when actually buying the laptop.
  6. Yea I know but I want to find something that is minimalistic and still works like a charm with no leaks or performance drops.
  7. So you guys should share my discussion with others because what I am going to do is review and test various watercooling solutions and then display and comment here.
  8. yea but I am trying to find one that effectively cools both the cpu and gpu without leaks or performance drops in the cpu or gpu. I have my eye on this, The Hunter Duet by Idcooling link - http://www.idcooling.com/Product/detail/id/56/name/HUNTER DUET
  9. I am trying to find a solution for the people who don't want or know or have the money to build a custom watercooling loop will update and post finds and suggestions (after extensive tests)

It's not bad, add an extra 4GB of ram and it's a 1080p medium/720p high capable rig.  Core2Quad's are still surprisingly capable, especially with DX12 and vulkan.

  11. Hey I know this is a random question but do U have any old spare graphics cards. like the GTX 760. And any old motherboards that support an i3 I currently have a really old pc (still plays fallout 4 like a boss)

I don't, I have an i3-540 and a motherboard but the board is broken and it sounds like you already have an i3, what generation is it? There are some really cheap boards on ebay ($40~).

well I currently have a core 2 quad extreme qx6850 3.0GHZ when it came out it was $1200 but i got it for $70 and I put the qx6850 in a EVGA nforce 680i LT SLI with a Asus GTX 760 2GB oc as the GPU and 4GB of XMS2 DDR2 ram it is an old build but it holds its end in newer games like fallout 4(at ultra) and tom clancy's rainbow 6 siege(at low)

I just got a "new" motherboard, its the ASUS P7P55D-E PRO its old but it supports ddr3 so its an upgrade. Iam going to get another Asus GTX 760 and make a sli system.

  12. Anyone know what brand this case is?
