Will probably mess with mounting drives and a power supply tomorrow, and then see about JB welding anything I need there.

Linux 5.1 kernel hit by SSD TRIM bug which causes massive data loss

Good to know, nobody in my family uses other Linux distros. I'm curious, does it only happen with the Samsung SSDs, or would it happen with a standard drive?

    Dell MOBO

It's not 80+ certified, that's for sure. You could probably get away with it for a while longer, but if it bothers you that much, you can buy a CX450M.

    Is it better

    Ah, thanks for clarifying.

Hardware doesn't become automatically obsolete when something newer launches... I also have a GTX 780 that's still kicking and is actually pretty good for 1080p gaming. Even old CPUs like the 3770K are still viable options.

    Dell MOBO

uATX and mATX are the same thing, just different names. If you're really not sure, the best way to find out is to check where the standoffs are on the OEM board compared to an aftermarket board.

-Threads merged- Please refrain from reposting content You don't need 3000+Mhz memory for Ryzen, I do just fine with even 2133.

I'm in the market for a GPU? £500-£700

It was underwhelming because it was a bit overhyped. 2070 will have more raw compute power than the 2060 will, making your rendering experience better.

    Old Cpu identification help

That's a Pentium 4 clocked at 3Ghz, as denoted by the writing on the IHS. This refers to brand and manufacturing year. CPU model Clock speed, cache, memory speed(respectively). The rest is just random stuff you don't really need to worry about, most Intel processors will carry all the information you need to ID them in the first three lines of writing.
