  1. Should this cause me concern? I have two LL120 fans as the intake and two LL120 fans as exhausts (the rear is mounted on the Rad of an M22 cooler) so there isn't much more I can really do. Should I consider a more open case or should the card be okay?
  2. Will do! Thank you ^^
  3. Hi all! As the title suggests, I'm trying to OC my Strix 970 however I'm extremely new to OC'ing cards. I've been reading a few pages and watching a few videos however I still have a few questions. For instance; I have my card sat at 1473Mhz on the boost clock, any higher and Furmark starts to report artifacts; now are these the limit of the card or can I increase values to bump up the boost clock to higher values? Could someone help to to understand how OCing a card like mine would work? As I've said; I'm fairly new to this EDIT: So after a little tinkering and watching the video below. I've got my card sitting at 1480Mhz Boost. 1213mV Max with 8110Mhz on the memory. How does this sound? Pic below.
  4. The scariest part of this article? "32 core, 64 thread" But... Can it run Crisis?
  5. I did look at the OSVR however I'm still unsure since they're all so expensive. Haven't Microsoft got one coming out?
  6. The only two games I'm really interested and I know have VR support are War Thunder and Elite Dangerous, I've not really seen any others that peak my interest unfortunately.
  7. Okay so, as the title says; I'm interested in seeing what everyone thinks of VR and where it is realistically going? Due to the fact I plan on buying a Vide next year (Or atleast, I'm thinking about it) I was talking to my friend on Teamspeak about it and it seems we're both worried it'll do what the original Kinect for the Xbox did. It'll be around for a while, it'll be in a few games but ultimately it'll die out due to either a lack of games or a lack of interest. Personally I'm scared that it'll die out in the future due to a lack of huge games which support it (I know there's a fair few, but I've not really seen any huge titles announcing support for VR) What do you all think? What do you realistically think is going to happen with VR? Will it take off, or will it be another failed technology?
  8. It is, the parts list has been updated
  9. That is the answer I wanted! Thank you. I'm going to fit a set of Dominator Platinum 32GB (4x8) and a Strix GTX 1070 on an MSI Krait Gaming X3. The CPU cooler is the EK supremacy and I was planning on putting the rad at the top.
  10. I'm just wanting to know, does this case (Razer H440) fit this Radiator ( EK Coolstream PE 360 triple)
  11. I'm hoping for a way to have this plate work with the block .
  12. I know that the EK Block officially says that the Strix standard backplate doesn't work with the block however since this is Linus Tech and I've once seen Linus take a Dremel to a Titan (Now I think about it, what haven't the LMG group took a Dremel to?) So, is there any way to jury rig the backplate to work with the EK block? It's such a lovely backplate!
  13. I'm getting something like 6 meters of the same tube and I was planning on getting those Mandrels! I found them in a watercooling bending kit from Monsoon, it's pretty neat really.
  14. Brilliant, thank you! I've got everything I need now and I know it all matches, I've got the right kit to do the bending. I'll definitely post photos once I actually build the system next year
