  1. EDIT: saw post about posting Am retarded. Didn't plug in 8 pin CPU.
  2. My Build: GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 i7 4790k MSI Z97 Gaming 5 RM750 Corsair PSU (Refurbished officially from corsair) 8 GB Ram No case yet I finished my new build a few minutes ago but after countless tries, I am unable to have the computer completely on. I don't have a case so I've been using the screw driver trick. Everything lights up for around 1 second and then you will hear a click in the PSU and everything shuts off. I haven't been able to find a solution yet. Any help?
  3. Thanks for the replies guys. I know he's completely full of shit. I mostly made thread to see if DDR5 even existed at all.
  4. At first I thought he was just confused about GDDR5 and DDR3 ram but he explicitly stated that's the ram sticks. According to him, a friend from caltech "modified" his cpu and mobo to support it. Reasons for Bullshit 1. x86 architecture doesn't just get modified to support ddr5 2. Neither does the motherboard 3. I couldn't find a single article on ddr5 development 4. I doubt anything would even support running it Am I being completely logical right now or does it actually exist...
  5. I got the cooler and cpu for christmas and It's just been sitting there.
  6. I'm planning to purchase this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/s3BT99soon and was wondering if you could mount the swifttech to the front mount therefore it's hidden from view. If the tubing doesn't reach then I can purchase longer/sleeker tubing.
  7. Short and most accurate answer: no. E-Sports should push toward being their own and unique category instead of consistently forcing others to believe that they are a type of sports.
  8. That power supply kind of seems like overkill and you could have gotten a 4th gen i5 for 10 more dollars.
  9. I posted this in XDA developers but I doubt it will be answered anytime soon. I just flashed a new rom on my LG gpad known as CMB but it's stuck on the loading screen/booting screen. I can't force it back into recovery with the volume rocker and I can't use the CMD to force it in either. What do I do?
  10. If anyone still cares. I managed to fix it. I also found out that google fiber's router is only N. Like wat. I just imagined that google fiber would have an ac router to take advantage of the speed. I got a new router and I get 600+ mbps.
  11. I'm not complaining about the speed but honestly I would rather have 200 mbps than 30+. The router should be compatible with the adapter. They are both AC so I don't know
  12. Could it be the interference? Lately my stupid neighbors have had like 10 random wifi router points and it's driving me insane. Could it be that?
  13. On the box it says. Wireless-AC Technology with speeds of up to 867 mbps. I just bought a brand new ac router and I have gigabit internet and I'm only get 60mbps. #firstworldproblems But I still want to at least get up to 200+. I'm relatively close to my router and I'm still getting "slow" speeds. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
  14. I got gigabit internet in my household a few days ago and my adapter still seems to get super low download speeds. So I'm assuming that it's my adapter that has been fried not my internet. What would take advantage of gigabit internet the most? I had a really crappy edimax adapter and I was thinking about either getting an adapter like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320173 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320112 I heard ethernet and pci adapters have much better quality than the usb ones. Thoughts?
