  1. A script may be just fine, as long as it creates a shortcut and places it into the startup folder Nevermind, i saw now the script is there lol
  2. First i matched them manually, by the rpm showed below. after applying a curve to Control, it seems to have "moved" control to the next card for current curve *weird* Then i tried auto matching, i didn't do much, then i matched them manually again, point at which it worked. Btw, any future plans to introduce a button to start with windows? I know how to do it, but maybe some don't
  3. You can buy it now, and if the new Ryzen proves to be a much better option, then you sell what cpu you have and get a new 4000 series one (get atleast 4xx motherboard now, so it will be forward compatible). GPU, i would wait 1-2 months, Nvidia will release new stuff soon.
  4. Let me just say THANK YOU. After i finnagled with SpeedFan again after 5 years, only to find out it does not work, this is damn great. I top my hat to you sir. Now i can have 2 radiators tied to the cpu, and 1 to the GPU temps. Great great great. Thanks again. I think i found a weird little bug, but i managed to fix it, so i don't even consider it a problem. Different Control cards controlled what fans were tied to the one on the left. Anyway, removing fans and re-assigning them fixed it. Compatible with Ryzen5 3600 on AsRock b450 Steel Legend board, latest bios.
  5. Okay, so XMP is a profile embedded into the memory sticks, usually for intel platforms, but i have seen them work in AMD platforms (mine included). This profile basically has all the settings for the memory (timings and voltage etc) A short YT video will help you understand it. Command rate is still memory timing related, but in my case for example, it is 2T in the XMP profile, but when i applied XMP on AMD platform, it went to 1T, which caused instability, so i had to go in and change it manually to 2T. It's just a setting in bios, nothing complicated.
  6. It means it was not tested yet, but most memory kits work. It just depends if it will run at rated speeds, or you will have to either downclock the memory, or loosen up the timings. Just plug it in, and if it boots, it will be at 2133mhz, default for DDR4, then you turn on the XMP profile, be careful to set the CR (command rate) the same as the kit says and you should be good.
  7. If you have 2 RAM sticks, just put them like usual, first in the furthest slot from the CPU, second in the third. Your motherboard manual should have detailed explanation, but this is the general rule. Matisse is the "family" or code-name of the CPU, just like IvyBridge for intel, Coffe Lake etc. Your 3900x will be Matisse. https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/amd/ryzen_9/3900x

    Help please!

Have you tried pressing "Detect" in windows display properties? Or under device manager, find your laptop display, and reinstall the driver for it.
  9. This happened to me literally 2 days ago, i took the whole block off, and the standoffs have 2 flat spots on them, i just gripped with pliers and it unscrewed. Then, used the same pliers to screw it back into the block. I guess blue Loctite was not a bad idea

  15. If you had more than 1, this could help: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/154956-how-to-properly-set-up-speedfan/ Even with 1, you can control it, but a fan controller would be a better alternative.
  16. Hello, do you have 3 pin fan headers on your motherboard?
