  1. I updated my display drivers, and that seems to have fixed the issue, from what I can see, thank you all for your help, even if I didn't get around to your answer.
  2. I don't even know if it's the issue, that just seems more likely.
  3. So, I was playing Overwatch, as you do, and I wiped my keyboard (Cause it was gross), a bunch of things opened (Command prompt, file explorer, etc.). Most importantly, the Xbox...game...DVR(?) recording software opened and started to record, I told it to stop, it told me I couldn't record at this time. After that, My system was struggling to push half the frames it could before. It could do Overwatch on Epic settings without any issues, and all of a sudden I can barely do 30-40 frames. Any ideas?
  4. Mhmm. I know that, and you know that, but that doesn't mean I don't get nervous when my temp starts to approach 70C! Haha.
  5. I don't really think it's either of those, I had an idea of what was up, I just wanted some extra feedback, and Energycore confirmed my thoughts.
  6. Alright, thanks! That's kind of what I expected. and there isn't a thermal issue, trust me. That 1060 is cold as ice...metaphorically.
  7. So, a buddy of mine is building his first computer, and he has bought a super-clocked 1060 ( http://goo.gl/odxpnu ). He's ask me to house it in my system just to test it out. Thing is, I'm only seeing performance improve in 1 or 2 games compared to my 970 ( http://goo.gl/EjYD7B ). I was wondering if they were just that close in performance (they aren't though), or maybe something is wrong. I would use Skyrim and Fallout 4 as examples, but we all know performance issues are because of Bethesda's tired engine. Also, his 1060 is outrageously loud, but I'm gonna count that toward the one fan and its tiny heatsink.
