  1. Just forgot to mention it it is a R3 1200, but the overall issue has been solved already. Turns out the board was dead. Got it replaced and the new one works like a charm.
  2. Thanks for all the advice @brob, turns out the board is dead. Got it replaced and the new one works like a charm.
  3. I did connect it to the graphics card, to no avail... also I tried putting the ram sticks on different slots, took out all two of them or tried to use them on alternating slots.. no change Added to that, the mobo has no way of determining whether or not it is a ram error or something else. It is really frustrating... There is also no LED that might indicate what's wrong. Cou and gpu fans are spinning, leds of the case are working fine as well. It simply won even get to post or even output anything to the monitor in the first place... maybe a dead board???
  4. Hey guys, I just build a PC with: Mobo: Asus B350m-k Ram: Gskill Ripjaws 2x8gb 3200mhz Storage: 1TB WD Blue GPU: Zotac gtx 1050ti Case: Fractal Define Mini C PSU: Corsair RM 550x Everything is conencted properly, including front IO etc. but for some reason I don't get any output on my display (DVI connection). The Motherboard won't even make a "beep" sound. Instead, it just having a orange glowing LED strip and nothing else. When turned on, all the fans (gpu and cpu) are spinning, but I am getting no display output/ post at all. Is the board dead??

  6. Really depends on your Budget @NovaMan01. How much do you intend to spend?

  8. You might want to consider getting professional counsel on this, since I thinkthis goes way beyond most peoples expertise on this forum. Especially when you are willing to spend huge sums like that. Maybe getting a prebuild server with good customer support might be the way to go (sorry if this isn't helpful, but I wouldn't want to give bad advice)
  9. Hey Lemmy, fellow german here I think your build is good and really needs no changes. I coincidentally just made a build for a friend, which is nearly identical to yours haha PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor (€292.94 @ Mindfactory) CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 SE-AM4 140.2 CFM CPU Cooler (€89.90 @ Amazon Deutschland) Motherboard: Asus - PRIME B350-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard (€90.14 @ Amazon Deutschland) Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (€143.53 @ Mindfactory) Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (€127.33 @ Mindfactory) Video Card: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Btw, great choice with the case. Have a R5 myself, albeit with a 6700k, and it is inaudible. best purchase I ever made alongside my corsair psu.
  10. Wasn't sure myself. Read different things on the internet, but a buddy o mine tried it regardless and it worked. (I do own the fullversion though so no idea)
  11. same here man haha
  12. Nice! You know what, I wouldn't change anything about your build except maybe get gskill ram modules (G skill Trident Z RGB is pretty cool, and gives some added flair to your system, though of course it is up to you. The dominators look dope af too). Thanks for mentioning the radeon pack btw. Might be worth checking out. So yeah, actually I think you already have gone the extra mile on the aesthetics department with your build. I would probably get some nice fans down the line like the corsair hd120s, BUT since you have the NZXT hue, getting the NZXT rgb fans might be a better fit. Nice one dude, Have fun building that monster
  13. Ok cool Just out of curiosity though, are from france? If yes, why do you order from belgian sites? Regarding your build, I would get the 1700 instead, since it can overclock just as well as the 1700x. You save some money, that you can for example use for better peripherals or more memory if you want to. Do you want RGB in your build?
  14. What colourscheme did you have in mind?
  15. Looks okay, but I'd probably get a 1600 instead of 1400, and higher clocked ram (3000-3200). You don't need the NZXT cooler, since the ryzen stockcooler handles temps pretty well and looks sleek. So, from the money you save, get either a better cpu or ram
  16. Mini-ITX i would say. Small cases are out there, like the fractal node 202
  17. Hey whatever floats your boat, but currently Intel is pulling a shitshow and is really mistreating their customers by charging outrageous prices. Ultimately up to you Ryzen is the better value and worth every penny (built about 4 systems for friends/ family based on Ryzen and they love it, especially my brother who works a lot in VMs for testing and coding purposes). For more infos, watch this: I chose the GIgabyte graphicard, becasue the Aorus card and the strix card by Asus have great cooling/ thermals and are inaudible in the systems I have built so far. With a tempered glass panel on the side of the case, this is all the more important, since I prefer silence and get irritated easily by fan noise or coil whine. The Asus screen was chosen simply because I have one myself and love it to bits! It does its job and I have no complaints about it, that is all really Oh and regarding the 7740x, it is probably the most unnecessary cpu out there with the 7700k being on the market. If in doubt: On a final note, I will be honest here,I have been an Intel user all my life. The Pcs my father gave me as a kid were all Intel based, the PCs I have built myself were all Intel based, and even my current one was built when Intel was still the better choice (I have a 6700k). BUT this has changed significantly this year. Amd has unexpectedly made comeback, which kind of caught Intel off guard and despite that, Intel still charges too much. 4-5 years of only incremental upgrades and perfomance gains on Intels side with new sockets each time and suddenly, now that AMD has made its comeback, they still practice the same kind of strategy. I really won't support that and will definitely build my next system based around an AMD CPU. So it is really a matter of personal opinion and experience. If you want a Intel machine, that is fine, but currently you wont get the same amount of cores and perfomance for the low price AMD is offering.

  21. Probably getting a prebuilt server with longer warranty and service might be prudent, if you are running a business. If not, the build in the pc partpicker list looks okay to me. I would probably go for rackmount, but that is up to you.
  22. If you can, get a Ryzen 1600. More cores can be beneficial to smooth streaming
