  1. Hmm, yeah, I had a similar case once, but I wasn't able to do much about that, because every time windows would just reapply the bad drivers and nothing would work. You could maybe try disabling the automatic driver installation (I think it was Advanced System Settings -> Hardware -> Device Installation, not sure right now) and uninstall/reinstall the drivers from the manufacturer. Other than that I don't know what you could do about that, sorry
