  1. Since you brought up a curved display, what's the appeal towards them? I don't see any benefits other than an awkward shape.
  2. I've been looking out for monitors lately that I'd be primarily be using for esports titles and indie games and I've narrowed down my search down to The Asus VG248QE (£210) and The BenQ XL2430 (£300). I was wondering if the BenQ monitor was worth the extra £90-ish because I'm not too knowledgeable about these types of things. Any info is appreciated! !
  3. €200-€250 at the most excluding P&P.
  4. If it's a custom built then getting into it is easy enough. Once you take off the cooler clean off the thermal paste from under the cooler and the CPU itself with some isopropyl alcohol. I used the Arctic MX-4 which has served me well so far but there might be other better thermal pastes.
  5. Hey, I was thinking of getting a solid monitor at a reasonable price that I would be primarily using for some competitive games like CSGO and Overwatch and some other casual ones. I was wondering if ye had any suggestions for a 24" 1080p monitor with 1ms response time at the very least. I shop on Amazon UK usually. Thanks!

This is more of a status update but cool.
  7. Yes but it can't overclock because your CPU isn't overclockable.
  8. I've found that Alt Tab-ing with a borderless fullscreen window is far quicker than with a fullscreen window.
  9. The rubber on the outside of the cable or the metal part of the cable?
  10. I have a 1060 6GB and it runs perfectly on my 1080p tv. I usually get 60fps or more on most of the games I play.
  11. I have always loved physical copies of games. I have a collection of Wii games that I love but I sadly don't get physical PC games due to the fact that I lack a DVD drive, downloads off DVDs take far longer than digital and there's not enough games on the DVD format at my local Gamestop to bother going physical (most new physical PC games come with a code to activate it on platforms like Steam so you can't use the same game on multiple systems which I found inconvenient). I have the odd PC DVD-ROM lying about but they're old so compatibility is usually a problem.
  12. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the game?
  13. Does this happen only in a specific game or is this for all applications?
  14. I've heard that the first product works well when removing thermal paste. I don't know about the second product because the link doesn't work.
  15. If it's the basic ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming mobo then you're out of luck. If it's the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming/AURA you can download their Aura Sync Utility software from their website.
