  1. Seems a nice solution, I saved the video and I'll try it out (as soon as the shipments are back to normal here in eu) as the DI Box seems to cost only about 30€. Sadly it will come with the mess of 2 more cables.
  2. Audio interface is Audient id4, the usb hub is a USB 3.0 hub Sitecom CN-071
  3. Hello, I recently had some EM interference problem with my audio interface so I decided to plug it in a usb 3.0 hub and plug the audio interface into it, that resolved like 70% of the audio crackling and noise that I was hearing (not 100% cause the hub is usb powered). The problem I have now is that the audio cuts off after about 1 min or so, I though it may be the usb hub getting shut off from windows for power management but seems to not be the case after disabling auto shut off from device manager. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  4. Hello, I recently upgraded my pc from a ryzen 3 1200 to a ryzen 5 3600. Other pc spec are: Mobo - Asrock AB350M pro4 Ram - 2x4gb ddr4 corsair vengeance 3000mhz gpu - msi armor rx580 4gb psu - corsair cx550m storage - samsung 970 evo 250gb (boot) seagate barracuda 1tb (storage) Before doing that I obviously upgraded the motherboard bios from asrock website and after the swapping I also downloaded new chipset drivers from amd website and upgraded my gpu drivers. I also uninstalled the old cpu drivers from control panel. After some time I'm getting constant issues with video output and bios: 1. Bios takes a long time and keeps getting stuck sometimes, needing me to press the reset button. 2. When pc goes in sleep mode (either by manual or automatic) for at least 1 hour or so, after that I'm unable to wake it up and receive no video signal whatsoever, I need then to press the reset button or just turn off. 3. Weird video glitches (rare, once a week or 2) and video output turning off and then on after a few seconds. Apart from these things the computer behaves perfectly with games and other intense loads, and the performance is as expected (cpu temps always under 70C under load with stock cooler). Thanks in advance for any help.
  5. Thanks for the suggestion but I think most of the noise come from EM interference with the usb interface so it's easier just to use another usb port, now my problem is the usb hub turning off after about 30-50 seconds, also when I disabled power management auto turn off permission. Any suggestions?
  6. Seems you got the issue already, I tried with a usb3 hub and the noise is mitigated by like 90%. Thank you a lot. EDIT: the noise is not gone 100% but converted to a much lower buzz, but I guess em shielding the whole system will require a new graphics card. EDIT2: seems like the audio interface just stops working after a while connected to the usb hub, I also tried turning off automatic windows usb power management but this seems it doesn't do the trick, maybe the usb hub can't keep up for power demand?
  7. Hello, I have an audio setup consisting of Audient iD4 (it's an external usb audio interface) and a pair of jbl lsr305 connected to the interface with 2 xlr to 6.3mm jack balanced cables. When I open up most of the games (especially with uncapped framerate and higher settings) I hear a humming, buzzing noise (sometimes it's really loud in menus), probably because of gpu load (my gpu doesn't have a backplate, it's an RX 580 msi armor). The speaker and the pc are both powered in the same power strip, and I only have 1 wall socket available (I'm in Italy so it's an EU socket). The weird part is that I don't hear any noise with headphones connected to my audio interface. Asking for a solution. Thanks in advance!
