well the gpu is really old so there is a chance it's dead but then it should't give video... maybe a driver issue? restarting shouldn't change anything

don't buy a k processor if you don't have a x or z motherboard same case with the ram -
well i'd say go with the hd 558 but you'll have to buy a seperate mic for it however it has the best sound quality for it's price
