  1. what payment method should I use? have you tried buying from there?
  2. they don't accept paypal? what if I get ripped off or item doesn't even arrive?
  3. although that story could just be faked to squeeze money out of xiaomi hmmm...
  4. oh lol i just googled the phone and I see explosion pics lmao i dont know how I missed that damn...
  5. Xiaomi looks awsome and I see its available at newegg.ca for $350 but what if a disaster happens like hardware failure? does xiamoi have good support?
  6. Hello guys I am in the market to buy a new phone on a budget price of $300 CAD. I had always used an IOS devices (iPhone,iPod). I am looking to switch to android because I want to learn the OS and also android phones have a better entry price. What I am looking for in a phone? ***Long battery life no need to recharge or worry about it using any brightness setting I want. Quick charging technologies would be good for some occasions but not needed as I will charge it at night mostly. -play music/browse internet/use google apps such as drive/docs occasional light games/read comics while I commute. -i don't know if this one can fit but a good looking screen would be nice (good colors and what not) resolution of screen does not matter as I am only doing basic things on the phone and Think a 720p would be cheaper and do just fine. ***the software needs to be good and reliable. the hardware as well. -some kind of warranty offered by the manufacturer in Canada. (cant risk international editions) I have been looking at the zenfone 3 series by asus, some lg phones such as lg x power 2 and moto phones but I am unsure which one of them would work and if there are some that I am missing? I do not want to order phones from china as it is sketchy (shipping wise) even though their phones look awesome (xiaomi) but I do not want to take risks. What phones would you recommend? I am excited to see what you guys have to say! Thank you for helping me out
  7. I am looking at Gelid GC Extreme and might purchase it late on. Kinda exciting changing thermal paste
  8. I am thinking the thermal paste might be under performing; might have to change it (scary) but I have been seeing other people who changed their old laptop paste and got way better results. So I will keep that in mind, also thanks for the paste suggestions
  9. @EnergyEclipse @nerdslayer1 Thank you for the advice>
  10. Yes I want to use an external pad and put it under the copper line and maybe it can get cooler...
  11. I would also contact them but I doubt they would be useful (you never know)
  12. Two options that I see as the solution currently: 1)Changing Thermal Paste, you never know because laptop is 3 years old. 2)Custom Fans 3)Light CPU tweaking; under clocking to 2.4Ghz sets max temps at 65C for CPU which would hopefully let GPU work at max MHz
