there is always exit clauses like if EA damages the starwars brand permenently etc disney can pull the plug on that exclusivity( disney would not sign away the game rights to star wars for 10 years with no way out that costs them nothing they are simply too big to not be getting the good end of the deal). there will be multiple ways for disney to wiggle their way out of that deal. a change of ownership is probably one of those clauses. and yes EA paid alot of money but i doubt it was all up front its probably a set rate per game or year 

they could just use the X2 with more than 256 Cuda cores running at full speed and if they aimed at making a product like the PS4pro (ie something not designed for full 4k output just upscaling etc) they might have a market expecially if its 100% switch game compatible.

Blind testing is bad news. When a company blind tests instead of revealing impressive numbers it means the product is inferior. They are basically saying its not as good but hey it feels the same! This is because at higher frame rates for example, we can't notice the difference between 120 and 150 fps.
 
Also the fact that they keep stressing vega + freesync is cheaper than NVidia +gsync just to me says they know they aren't competitive on price for the gpus and are relying on the large premium carried by gsync panels. Well that's crap logic because for a start someone upgrading their gpu might already have a decent freesync monitor and therefore it would be better for them to get a 1080Ti and just not use the freesync functionality,

good self care is always important and not exclusive to gaming. lots of people die in the office from overtime or stuff like that yet we don't talk about that because it isn't an outlier. shit happens, everybody dies. not that that takes away that we should monitor it but this probably will get used by some people to shame gaming as a whole.
