  1. EZ. Quality and brand. Filco, or Diatec (the name of the company) has established a reputation for making high quality keyboards, even though their keyboards don't feature macro keys, function keys, or any special functions other than a simple layout. There are people who prefer to have the simple layout and no backlighting features and what not. I've played with mechanical keyboards for over 4~5 years now, and I have yet to find a negative comment about Filco other than its lack of extra features. Everything else about it is just highly praised. Forget the internals of the keyboard, just compare the outer case of a Filco vs CM Storm QuickFire Rapid/XT (made from the same factory) and you will notice the difference in quality, although in the case of CM Storm you are paying less. That said, I personally do think a Filco is really expensive, almost overpriced even. If I were to ever buy one I know for sure that I am not simply buying it for its build quality, but also for the name
  2. I HAVE JOINED THE POK3R CLUB!!!! Got myself a black Pok3r with Cherry MX brown switches. I can see why Pok3r owners heavily favor this over Ducky Mini now....this is just an awesome keyboard
  3. Yeah I think that's close enough. But honestly if you can find a place where they have a demo, or if you have a friend who owns one it'd be nice if you could check it out for yourself before buying.
  4. It does look kind of like the G9x I remember the G9x Call of Duty MW3 edition was in stock for a period of time in some regions. Dunno if they're still available now.
  5. I wouldn't say it's a "stupid" name, it is just how they describe the gold color, but I kinda get what you're saying; the printed "tuhaojin" on the front just doesn't look that great IMO ><
  6. Do it! Classic mouse. Kinda sad Logitech stopped producing these and didn't make any upgraded versions.
  7. Ducky has a reputation of making good quality keyboards for the price you pay, and the Tuhaojin edition is no exception. Tuhaojin (土豪金 in Chinese) is basically a fancy name for the gold color, hence the gold, shiny top cover. Should you go for it? For that price you found I'd say YES! That's a really good deal IMO, plus at this point in time its a limited edition board since they stopped producing it a long time ago. The differences between this and the Shine 4 are not that big of a deal. The shapes are different since Ducky took a new approach with the shape when they made Shine 4, and there are a few differences with the function keys options, not that big of a deal. As for lights Shine 4 comes with dual lights, red and blue, and you can combine them to create purple. Yes, 土豪金 in Chinese. The word "tuhaojin" is actually printed in the front of the keyboards
  8. Hmm I know the coatings are different and I mean a plastic feel as in...the case just feels like a hard plastic, like there's no coating on top. That's why with the TK you don't have to worry about the case "peeling off"
  9. There are many other options out there that have brown switches might have to look around your area and see what's available.
  10. Ducky One I've been a long-time Ducky fan, and own quite a bit of their keyboards. The quality of their keyboards for the price is so good. And the Ducky One comes with different color shells though you will have to wait for future releases
  11. Zowie mice like FK, ZA, and EC series are all excellent mice for CSGO. If it's only those 2 choices, I'd go for the Logitech 502 over DeathAdder.
  12. If you want a full size keyboard and prefer black or red switches then go for the 6Gv2. It is a solid keyboard for its price, and I'd say it is definitely worth it. CM Storm TKL is a good choice if you don't use the num pad section a lot and want to save space on your desk by not having the num pad area. CM Storm gives more variability in terms of switch options as they offer red, blue, brown, black, and in some cases green switches (though pretty much out of stock everywhere for greens). Both of them have great build quality. It really depends on what you are looking for in a keyboard.
  13. I believe the coatings are different. I don't really know how to specifically describe the feel for both of them, but I know the TK has a more plastic-like look and feel to it. If you're only choosing between these 2 boards I'd personally prefer the Trigger Z.
  14. After using this mouse for a couple of days I can definitely say this is one amazing piece of hardware. At first I was debating whether to get the FK or ZA, but after trying out the shape and grip on both mice I chose the ZA simply because I prefer that high curve at the back to rest my palm. As for the size of ZA I went for the smallest size for convenience and portability. ZA12 in my opinion fit my hands pretty well I'd say, and ZA11 was just simply too large.
  15. I just bought a Zowie ZA13 a couple of days ago and I think it's amazing.
  16. Yeah. I tried playing SC2 with 60% before, not very smooth at all. At least for LoL it's playable
  17. I've always heard good reviews about Zowie mice, wanted to give this a try for once
  18. Woohoo I just bought a Zowie ZA13 and a Zowie P-TF X mouse pad
  19. I want to get another 60% keyboard and I've come down to 2 choices: the Ducky Mini with browns, or Pok3r with clears. Ducky Mini: recently going on sale almost every in Taiwan for $2590NTD, which is ~$79USD, and I get a free Ducky Mini bag plus a switch key chain. The thing is I already have a Ducky Mini with red switches, so...kind of debating here. Pok3r: it'll be my first Poker series keyboard, and it comes with clears switches, which is more unique than browns. Down side is it's quite a bit more expensive than the Ducky Mini and I don't get any extra peripherals with it. I'm a semi keyboard enthusiast, and at the same time I do like to game and type reports with a mechanical keyboard. Hence I will be carrying one of the 2 mentioned keyboards around. Which one should I get?!?!
  20. I'm currently using the Abyssus mirrior edition. Lovin' the glossy touch It gets dirty easily but at least I don't have to worry about rubber sides wearing out over time.
  21. True dat. This is why you see pro gamers using TKL in tournaments. On one hand they're pretty darn heavy, and at the same time they don't really use the num pad keys. I'm wondering if any progamer will ever use 60% in tournaments. But then some 60% keyboards are capable of setting macros so I think tournaments will ban them...
  22. That's kind of how sponsorships work haha. Use the sponsors' products in public and display for the audience, but at home and in private use other preferred peripherals.
  23. I guess they wanted to go for gaming look with the G402 and G502
  24. Oh man, I haven't looked at CM Storm mice since buying the Spawn...
