  1. Yeah, go and look at the file properties. So if the video stream is in 5 Mb/s and audio in 1 Mb/s then streaming the file will theoretically require a 6 Mb/s download speed without any buffering. So that's how much space the file takes up per second. Keep in mind that everything I'm talking about here is in bits, nothing is in bytes.
  2. Well, a video encoded in 5 Mbps with a 1 Mbps audio stream for example will require a download speed of 6 megabits per second, the resolution of the video is irrelevant however. Just check the video and audio bitrate and add them together and there you've got what download speed you need
  3. Doesn't make much sense to me. I like that.
  4. I gave them a listen. Not a big fan of the vocals unfortunately. Have a listen at this if you want to: http://youtu.be/xJUDk6a4GsI?t=1m12s You can listen for more than just a few seconds, it's really good Oh my god this song is so good. So first you have some keyboard stuff, then some guitar with a solo, then you get EPIC VOCALS at 2:52. Oh my god those vocals... This must be my favorite band. 3:43, oh my god the awesomeness doesn't stop there, oh no, fucking eargasm man. ________________________- And then you have this song http://youtu.be/oIY4X8yi5Oo?t=18m34s best part at 19:39... Those were only two songs, all over their songs are 10/10 I salute Haken

  6. Not really. Lots of people run 4-way SLI. Lots of enthusiasts out there. I would buy 4 if I could.
  7. But I want it to be messy as hell in there! Also I didn't know about the ECC ram, that concerns me.
  8. But would any dual xeons be able to get the performance in games that a 4960X would? Even if it's a waste of power and money
  9. Yeah man I agree it looks amazing having two cpus in a beast of a machine, that's what I want! http://youtu.be/fEdAChbJ_7Y?t=9m50s Imagine having this beast, with dual CPU's instead, 4x 780 TI's (KIngpin) more ram and watercooling it, OMG NERDGASM
  10. PS3 master race, it has so many good games on it, unlike the piece of shit that Microsoft wants you to have.
  11. Yeah well, not that high-end, and that can't be for consumers right?
  12. The fact that I'm rolling with a 320GB HDD until I can get more money to buy a SSD and bigger HDD.
  13. I was not thinking about anything specific, just the most high-end I guess. Even if it costs a ton.
  14. So what is the best "device" I can use for listening to music with my headphones on my computer, that would give me extremely good audio quality? I'm not talking about a specific product, more like what kind of device you could use. Thanks
  15. I'm not going to build this, I was just thinking about it. Let's say you would build a computer, only used for gaming and web browsing, maybe just a little bit of video editing and rendering, but nothing to insane. This computer would NOT be used for anything very CPU intensive that would in fact maybe benefit from having dual xeons. No budget, no constraints, no nothing. I'm talking about a system with 4x 780 Ti's, 64GB's of RAM, two or three watercooling loops (if you can do as many as three), and everything as high-end as it gets. I would just be doing 4K gaming on this. Dual xeons wouldn't benefit anything right? That's not what I care about. Would those xeons be as good for 4K gaming as a 4960X? Would they be capable for gaming? I was just thinking that it would be awesome to have two cpus for a future rig. They would require a larger motherboard and more watercooling stuff, which is a good thing in my opinion. I don't want any empty space at all in a giant case. So, would dual xeons be as capable of 4K gaming as a 4960X? All I want is for them to be the same in gaming, I don't care if I'll spend money on something I won't ever use.
  16. Is the DAC the only thing that affects audio quality, besides the source file and headphones?
  17. OMG! Linus asking the forum a question? Am I dreaming here?
