    this will definantly speed up your computer and clear all error messages from the hard drive read/ write codes.

    if your getting a new phone it would have to be an iphone so that your old backup can move onto your new phone. if you get a new android it would be alot of messing around. which iphone is it?

    you can plug the monitor cable into the motherboard you dont need a gpu. try this check that all of your power cables are in on the motherboard, could you try a different cpu fan.

    if not try a full reinstall and use a recovery tool to get back important file

    the disk scan could have remove a bad file which was also a main boot file. have you got a install disk to repair the install file ?
