  1. Hello, a few weeks ago I put together my new build, I've been using 13.9/13.11 at times depending on what worked better on BF4. I'm using a HDMI...I've ordered a DVI as friends recommend DVI instead..... PROBLEM: Games such as MOH/MOHW/BF4/BF3 work fine, just boot pc up and they work...but on other games such as Need for speed most wanted, call of duty ghosts, cod world at war and some other games...When the game has loaded and I'm about to play It will freeze and monitor will pop up 'HMDI connceted' and then Ill try go on the game but it's crashed... Is it the GPU coming up from the 300mhz idle state to the gaming state of 1GHZor? I'm usure what to do, My build: LG 24EN43 MONITOR (1080p) AMD 7950 AMD FX 8320 Corsair 8GB DDR31600MHZ EVGA600 PSU 1TB Seagate Baracuda Zalman Z9 Gigabyte GA970 DS3P mobo# Thanks
  2. Hello all, I'm ordering an entire system tomorrow and have decided to go with the FX-8320. However I'm not sure on this motherboards compatibility because of people mentioning flashing bios' which I don't want to do. Ideally, I want to just slap it on the motherboard and it works. Heres the motherboard in question Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P Socket AM3+ 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard Basically - Will the FX8320 work out of the box in this motherboard. Thanks in advance!
  3. Thank you, I like all answers and the ssd is a good option but maybe not a necessity

  5. It has less radeon cores but apparently performs almost the same as a 7950 so looks like a bargain!
  6. Hello, I've been looking at a new GPU (7870) and I've found a 7870 Tahiti Le for £150 on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/VTX3D-Radeon-7870-Tahiti-Graphics/dp/B00AM3A7JY/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1380454507&sr=8-6&keywords=7870 But friends have said avoid it because it's 'VTX3D' Does it matter what the branding is? Does it affect the card manufacturing process in any way? and does it even matter if it's MSI/CLUB3D/VTX3D/SAPPHIRE Just need a general overview. Thanks!
  7. Hello, I've recently been torn between which of these to purchase as I will be using it for web browsing and taking notes at university. I have a been shopping around online and can get the Surface for around £275 and an ipad 3 for around the same money. Things to concider - Ease of use - does this allow fast note taking? Battery - Pretty sure the surface has around 6 hours Speed - For doing shizzle I'm stuck! I have a Windows phone but would be nice to have something different as a tablet Thanks!

  10. Get an i3-3220 if you want intel Recommend AMD FX 4300/ 6300 is you'd go AMD http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i3-3220-vs-AMD-FX-6300 No problems from the 6300...More cores as some games will use more than 2.
