  1. Like everyone already said.. not much between them. I use SP120 Quiet Editions and NFF12's.. Only 2 Rad Fan's I'd ever use at this point.
  2. I'm not betting this thing will run minesweeper
  3. I did search every number printed on the card, It yielded nothing.. so I can here for a bit of help
  4. Hey fellas, I know I haven't posted much around here, except the first few days the site was launched, which I'm about to change.. but anyway Can anyone tell me what model nvidia GPU this is? Thanks guys!
  5. It's amazing... best 3.99 I've spent in a long long time.. 3.99 get's you 2 serials for 2 different windows 8 boxes. Or you can get 5 serial/licensees for like 4.99 30 day free trial. Without it, I'd still be on windows 7
  6. I installed it the day it offically came out and had nothing but problem after problem... I just finally tried it again last week, but I'm also using the godsend 'start is back'... other than the update thing it works 100% and I love it now. Storage Spaces management is great.
  7. I also have a windows 8 update that will not complete no matter what i do... I'm going to reinstall the OS soon :( It's the last resort I can think of.. I've literally tried EVERYTHING
  8. I've always wanted the ability to have 2 players... but each have their own MONITOR... NOW THAT would be amazing... we have more than enough graphical horsepower to accomplish this. I'm sure its a matter of GPU driver code and game code implementing it.
  9. And here is a even lower quality, shaky, and poorly lit video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFdlhClCY28
  10. I've been building my my CM Storm Trooper for a little while now, and it is, a joy to use. I'd like to see you guys' thoughts on it, your builds in it, and mods if you've done any. My plan is to mod a 360 rad into the front 5.25 bays vertically and put a 240 in the roof. Actually, putting a 360 in the front is not much of a mod, as it states on the box you can put one here, it just requires acquisition of a few brackets, I'm quite sure Bitspower and a few others have these. Currently I just have an H100i in the roof until I'm finished gathering all my custom water cooling bits. Here are a few photos of my CMST in its current form: * Will post photos of my ring when my damn camera charges! :D
  11. I bought windows 8 at the 39.99 price point and installed it. Well, 2 days later I was back to win 7. I think it comes down to driver and hardware support at this point. I was having SO many issues with games, sound card, usb 3.0 and various other things that I just went back. In my opinion, unless you really want a touch based experience, there is no need. The whole 'xbox live' thing is more of a gimmick than a true perk. The only saving grace I saw with windows 8 was the built in storage options. The Windows 8 OS basically has a software raid controller built in that is extremely easy to use, and from my experience works well. Other than that, I didn't see one thing that would have made me live with multiple games not working, my sound drivers not totally working, usb 3.0 not working, and numerous other little stupid things that would make me live with it. I do own a win 8 serial, but it will be a LONG time before I try that mess again. I had lengthy support chats with Origin/EA and others about it, and they basically told me that compatibility just isn't there yet.
  12. Hello, Often the best way to test PC components is to have, basically a second PC around. But some of us do not have that luxury. If you do have another rig around, see if your OCZ psu can power it up. Honestly, since you physically smelled your psu, I don't think the outcome will be very good. It is possible that your mobo went too, but if its a modern PSU and mobo, chances are its just the psu. Is your case very dirty inside? Did something physically fall into the power supply? Is the psu bottom or top mounted? Fan up or fan down? There really are lots of things to look at. Do you have a multi meter? Does your mobo have V Check points? I'm placing my bets on the PSU being gone, were you gaming at the time this happened?
