  1. Well seeing we only had 70 physical servers to host the site i'm not surprised

Running the Census in-house would help address security perceptions arising from the data being handled from a third-party, the ABS said at the time. It said it also made sense to outsource the project to a third-party rather than deal with the one-off high traffic spike internally.

The agency became 95 percent virtualised after cutting 300 physical servers to 70, which hosted 1500 virtual machines.

(Do correct me if I am wrong)

  2. I like the monotonic background versus the brightly colored balls. The sticks and stuff at the upper area are kind of distracting though. I wonder if you could have framed it to include only the three balls at the front. Overall I'd say 6/10.

Here's my first attempt at star trails :)

I allays like these images though they make my dizzy.  8/10 not bad for a first attempt

This is what I have, macro shot of an mxm modal from an old gaming laptop. Increased contrast in photoshop and dropped saturation otherwise as it was in camera.

  3. Looks like it could be an official Dell background image! What lighting did you use; also any post production? Sorry but because it's Dell it only scores 1/10 - okay, I give it a 6.5/10.

Old photo of mine from Center Parcs, taking with my old 450D.

I used a single video light in a really dark room and crushed the blacks a little in photoshop and added a slight vignette

  4. Hi all, a power supply was bought to me this morning that was half sleeved as the owner of it was halfway through sleeving it. The problem is that he has snapped both little wings that hold the little metal connector into the larger 24pin housing. while I was able to plug the 24pin in and jam the broken pin in and the system boot just fine i did want to ask if there is anyone who knows the names of the pins so I could get a replacement one rather than jam the connector in every time?

    Thanks

  5. So my friend bricked their nexus 5 and came crying to me to fix it (I did) and after fixing it and installing android 5.0 and then reinstalling all their apps from the google play my apps list. 1 day after i put malwarebytes on the phone I got a message saying that it had found trojan.sms.Opfake. after removing it I looked into this but could not find anyone with the same issue. People where reporting fakes with trojans imbedded in them but none where reporting that the original app had this trojan. I was wondering if any other android users that have the app installed or have friends that have the app installed are getting this popping up from malware bytes or am i just the only one

  6. Ok so you will need some graphics drives for that r7 260X that can be found here:  http://support.amd.com/en-us/download then you will need to look at some mother board drives for the msi a88xm-e35 that are here: http://www.msi.com/support/mb/A88XME35.html#down-bios and you may want to check for windows updates. for wifi check here: http://www.asus.com/Networking/USBN53/HelpDesk/

if you want to install and or update multiple programs at once check out ninite.com For which ones you need just try all the motherboard ones except things like Google drive and things that are not drives. The computer will tell you if they are up to date when you try to install them. that's about it and you should be good

  7. If you have another hdd that is the same size or larger i would do a fresh install of windows on the blank hdd and then copy the documents and other files over then wipe the problem drive. It is not the best but you will still have the files and you will end with 2x the hdd space as you had before. for me working in a pc shop i have a disk that can fix these problems but the only problem is i can't go and give it to the public, maybe ask you local computer shop if they can fix it, but if they want you to pay for it just re install windows and copy your files.

  8. ah, you mentioned chrome, on my surface pro 2 if i run chrome their is some background runtime that runs, (may not be a problem for you) but it made my surface kick out a tun of heat and eat its battery real fast. open task manager and have a look at the cpu utilisation at idle and then when playing games, if it is more than 10% at idle with chrome and iTunes open then that may be your problem. i have found chrome to be a real rescue hog and closing it may help a little
