My parents and some close friends of mine also lost their homes in this exact same Fire... seeing this warms my heart... thank you Linus and Craft Computing for such an uplifting gesture to a member of my community :). On a different note, some friends and I did a similar thing for our friend who lost his home. All inspired by this video  kindness is contagious when it’s from someone you look up to. Thanks again guys

balzer45 reacted to WWicket in Best WiFi extender for my work?
I find it is better to stay consistent... what are they using for wifi currently? Eg., The building is using Cisco Aironet for wifi --> use an Aironet AP as a repeater; the building is using Ubiquiti Unifi for wifi --> use an Unifi AP as an extender, etc. (Of course, assuming you have access to the routers/ wlan controllers.) If they are using random consumer grade stuff, I like the TP RE650

A wired AP will obviously be better than a repeater wherever possible.

If it's only for one stationary computer, depending on what you are using already, a better wifi card (*cough Alfa) and antenna (directional ftw) is usually cheaper and simpler than a repeater.

Not sure if this fits your needs as far as vertical mounting, or as far as "cube" is concerned as most cases are shaped like various sized cubes lol

That being said... here's what I found!

not sure on the price of it there

265W is definitely not enough for a 1050ti let alone any desktop (biggest money saving technique for manufactures is getting the lowest wattage power supply for the build possible). I'd go for at least a 500W power supply and recommend a 650W. EVGA tends to be 'the best' for Nvidia cards in my opinion, though you'd probably be okay with either not sure on the dimensions of the asus one anyway. And yes no external power will be needed for those cards though i'd recommend finding a card that needs external power for that motherboard. Shouldn't be any issues with adding the ram as long as there are slots available and it's clocked at the same speed!

Oof how did we both miss the fact that its an APU, also yeah if you don't play kingdom hearts you should be good, by the way be sure you're able to transfer your windows 10 key over to a different motherboard if you want to have it activated

I think you'd be able to run this on an external monitor that uses G Sync in the future as well, If you were interested in that, that way you'd still be able to game at home with buttery smooth Gsync. I could be wrong though, I'd look into that If you were interested

P65 Creator 8RF (White Limited Edition)

This laptop allows for an additional m.2 storage upgrade as well, I might pick it up and grab a 2TB NVME SSD (NO CLUNKY HARD DRIVE YAY!!!) for around 500$, that puts you at 32 GB ram, 2.5 TB of SSD Storage, GTX 1070 8GB only thing missing in this laptop is G sync... that puts you right at 2500$ If G Sync is a big thing for you then don't go with this one.

By the way, Keyboard and battery life is pretty good on this laptop too, it's also not ultra gamered out so you can use it in public without getting too many funny looks

I checked on MSI Afterburner and also Core Temp. Everything had the same temperature besides iCUE. I just happened to open iCUE today and I saw that high-temperature reading. Thanks to everyone that replied!

Just did a quick google search and it brought up several other people with the same issue. Looking into it, it seems like its just a problem with iCUE and I would trust  Ryzen Master over iCUE any day. If you're looking for a program to notify you if your temps get too high, check out Core Temp.

P.S. I'm not familiar with the Ryzen Master software so that is why I suggested Core Temp

Actually hell yeah it is, I have the 35-inch 21:9 ultra-wide and I picked it up for $1400.00 CND. So for  a 1440p at $500 although its a TN panel is actually really good.
