  1. Looks great .. if you could move up to I5-8500 and newer Motherboard then you would get 6cores and a probably a longer life span. I checked and you would only be paying about $40 more in total
  2. I'm finding that now I watch my vids over on floatplane I am not as active in the forums anymore ....
  3. I would keep the platform if your only getting a 1060. your CPU is still not enough to bottleneck a 1060: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q7lIYRK5T0ABLvAkgbM_2jJGvbhlep27mR-eRcCy4FA/edit?usp=sharing and with the DDR4 prices plus extra latency you should just save your money .. and maybe put a decent cooler on the CPU for a sweet overclock.
  4. The 1Tb HDD will hurt .. add a few $ for a boot SSD to go along with it. perhaps drop down fro mthe cyrorig h7 since you wont be overclocking and reuse the budget on an SSD
  5. In Thailand at least : I guess they were supposed to keep these in the back for a few more days.
  6. 1050Ti all day long .. hence the higher price ... any low priced RX560 going - RX560 sits between 1050 and 1050ti so if you got one for ~210 CAD it would be a better deal .. IMO
  7. Yes I have installed win10 on this board before no problem
  8. No point wasting $$ going to the FX 8350 .. you would be better off waiting (saving) to get a new MB/CPU/RAM combo (Ryzen on B350) or even better spend the same $ on older tech like I5 2nd/3rd or 4th Gen and MB combo (then you could reuse your DDR3 RAM and 1050Ti)
  9. too many frames for the TV to process ? .. what happens if you lock your framerate in TF2 using the fps_max 60 command ?
  10. Will it fit? - no Idea Will it play games in 1080p properly? - yep thats not going to be a problem Can I use it for fast rendering 1080p video's? - yep, Ryzen does well here Does it look dope? - If it fits then yes it would be totally dope
  11. Sorry to hear .. but things I would check or try 1. update DG965WH BIOS if not done already - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/17153/BIOS-Update-MQ96510J-86A-non-iSRT-?product=22639 2. Install Windows 10 without GPU installed .. you can use a Win 8.1 Key to deploy Windows10 until Dec 31st .. or just install as trial mode for now 3. create a bootbale memtest usb key to check the DDR2 RAM .. http://www.memtest.org/download/5.01/memtest86+-5.01.usb.installer.zip
  12. Decent headphone stand/holder ...
  13. Basic Answer is yes .. the type of RAM on your GPU has no bearing on your system RAM.
  14. I find a lot of 1155 boards locally for closer to $50 .. if your not overclocking then the B75 boards are normally cheap but Z77 will have the most features.
