  1. Yup, the first time I installed the 3600 it took so long I thought it was DOA. It was much slower than any of my previous Intels. Thanks, I did try that too. One beep on the 3600 meaning no issues and no sound on 5600X. I've assumed it's the CPU as every other part is identical and CPU/RAM combo is on the Aorus compatibility list. Packed and ready to return. The only issue is Amazon are only doing refunds at the moment and no exchanges (possibly due to shortages?).
  2. I've tested three bios versions (all compatible with 5600X) and the 3600 boots every time but not the 5600X. I've also used most of my thermal paste Anyone have any other suggestions before I return the 5600X?
  3. Thanks for the fast responses! I let it sit for 30 mins+ after installing the 5600 and still no luck. I have the 3600 installed at the moment and reflashed to a previous working bios (also supports 5600X). I'm waiting to see if it will boot into Windows. Edit: Tried two bios versions, 3600 booted both times. 5600x fails to boot using any bios version - any way to confirm if this might be a doa?
  4. I need a bit of help here, not sure what the problem is. I can't get the system to boot after installing a 5600x. Upgraded B550 AX ITX to latest bios F13G. Booted fine with AMD 3600. (I've been using the 3600 for 4-5 months+). Removed AMD 3600. Installed AMD 5600x. No POST. Checked all power cables, reseated ram, reseated GPU. No USB power. No display. Tried clearing CMOS. No POST. Reinstalled AMD 3600. No POST. No USB power. No display. Trying right now - Flashing to previous bios to see if it will help. Does anyone have any suggestions that might fix this issue?
  5. It looks all good to me, as performance is on spec with good SMART readings. You can run another benchmark here http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Samsung-850-Evo-250GB/Rating/2977 and compare to other people's scores with the same SSD. These are my smart numbers for a drive only used 1/5 of the time compared to yours. Speed tests are from the Samsung software.
  6. IIRC most SSDs have an allocation for bad sectors. This is a couple of GB and should show up in most diagnostic software, might show up in SMART too. Edit: I have the same SSD on one of my rigs about the same age. I'll check my specs for comparison.
