    I hope Linus (Berkel) remembers to make a ChannelSuperFun contest of putting together IKEA stuff with Logitech gear as prices to the winners, this needs to happen!

    Didn't Wendell mention that different connection types have different latency on the same monitor when he did some panel testing? Was that taken into consideration when doing this test?

    Also he should talk more of the Kingston HyperX Predator and the benefits and drawbacks of it. Was it the fastest solution available for the server? Also running it for main system drive and it beats out the available competition, 1200Mb/s reads and 600Mb/s writes for a reasonable price.

    So why not go with Linus old sub-zero chiller unit that's located on the floor of the upstairs storage closet and mod that into a fulltower?

    Poor Nick, Linus has him working as slave-labour over the weekend... Well now when he's away on vacation, chaos ensues or maybe Linus is the source of the chaos as seen with the excellent WAN-shows when he's out of the house

    So Linus if it's pointless to use that screen in Windows with the scaling issue, what about Linux and Steam OS instead, how would it work there??

    So the next logical thing is to do another set of videos that focuses on Ubuntu and the hardware foibles and recommendations for that system.

    A very valid point, but when a game doesn't support or run well on multimonitor it's not as easy to just run it on one screen if they are oriented in portrait mode

    Who would dare to buy one of these 34" displays now, when Freesync is just a month or two away with either new models or firmware upgrades?

    Damn, I would have liked to see Linus try out ARMA 3 with that setup .

    The "short-list" as demanded: The AOC u3477Pqu 34" 21:9 and that's it as I'm running dual R9 290's a G-sync monitor is out of the question. And I'm never buying a TN-panel again, even if this is the best TN-panel to date as some of the professional monitor-reviewers are saying, it's still double the price of what I'm willing to pay for a TN-monitor.

    Just go with 2 R9 290's and you got all the graphics horsepower you'll need for not that much more money than an 780ti
