  1. I've enabled gsync globally (the green gysnc logo shows) and the OSD still shows a fixed refresh rate
  2. Thanks for the reply, but I don't see the refresh rate changing in my OSD. Maybe because it's a G-sync compatible monitor (Samsung CRG9) instead of a real g-sync one?
  3. Currently in NVCP, I have fixed refresh rate set for global, and gsync set for specific games. I am trying to have gsync work in forza horizon 5 (borderless game) but not sure how to confirm it, since the green gsync icon cannot be enabled when gsync is off. I don't want to enable gsync everywhere. Is there a way to confirm if gsync is working? Thanks
  4. I wasn't too sure how to start the question, that was why it sounds weird btw hello fellow G14 2021 owner!
  5. Thanks for the replies, with 2 displays the gpu clock is 1320, memory is 7000. If I only connect one or lower the refresh rate, it would be running at 300 gpu, 405 mem.
  6. In my experience, this would usually happen if I connect more than two displays. I've seen posts online saying that as long as the refresh rates of the two displays could be equally divided, this shouldn't be an issue but I'm not sure if this is true or not.. Connected Displays: 5120x1440@120Hz+G-Sync -DP 3840x2160@60Hz -HDMI If I disconnect the 4K display or drop the 1440p display to 60Hz, the clocks would drop. Is there anyone using a similar setup that could confirm if this is normal? Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the reply, I ended up tagging the pfsense port and ap port on the vlan in my switch. I was confused about the trunk and tagging terms
  8. I'm basically trying to do this but with only one vlan, i'm not sure which ports to tag/untag and which ports to used pvid for
  9. One of the early users to post about this issue, I'm happy to see others 980's fixed with the new firmware. Unfortunately for me, the new firmware did not fix my write issue and I don't want to do a secure erase to test. Any other users that have the new firmware and did not fix the issue?
  10. many of us with the 980 pro are having the same problem, there's nothing much we could do now but to wait for new drivers/firmware
  11. same issue here, but on a 500GB with write speeds stuck around 1xxxMB/s
  12. Same thing here with a 500GB 980 pro on Asus Prime X570-Pro, 6xxx Read/1500 ish write (magician). When I first bought the drive, I tested it on a B550 board and it was at max speeds (before was empty drive, now 50%). My problem here is a little bit different since I have 2 different NVMe drives and both are having write speed issues, but the second one is caused by the SM2262EN bug which is pure bad luck having 2 drives with write issues.
  13. I have two types of "grinding" noise on my H110, one is the one you are having, the second one sounds like scarping. What I did to "fix" the problem you are having was plugging the pump power onto mb pwm vs just 12v power, not sure if this is the case for you but just a suggestion
  14. I've tried all sorts of workarounds before such as the registry tweak, dummy plugs, display fusion, etc and none of them works "properly. I'm using a 10ft Accell 1.2 cable since the startech 10ft I bought first didn't work for 4k60, any suggestions for good cables? Also, hi @sowon!
  15. I was stuck with my PB287Q on DP for around 4 years, switched to a 34UM88C-P this year and its like the best feeling ever to use HDMI 2.0 LOL, just tried DP with it and same issue occurs. GPU and cable were replaced while with the PB287Q, same issue occurs. I just wish GPU manufacturers could make more cards with more HDMI ports on the lower end.
