  1. I have a ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi motherboard with an AMD 7800X3D. I can't find the CPU voltage offset settings in the BIOS. Does Asus call this something else?
  2. I will be ordering custom cables for the Corsair RMe Series RM1000e for my upcoming O11 Mini Air build that will use the ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WiFi motherboard, RX 7900 XT, and 2 x 2.5 SATA SSDs. What are good estimate lengths I should order?
  3. I am upgrading my system to Ryzen 5 3600X? Is there any real world performance difference between RAM 3200mhz CL16 and CL14 because CL14 is expensive. Also, would changing the timings of CL16 increase performance?
  4. I am re-overclocking my Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming because some games I am getting some artifacts then and there but not all the time. I use MSI Afterburner. OC my memory and core to their stable max each by them self. Memory with the max +550 and core about +100. Sometimes I can get stable core with leap frog like 120 and 140 but not 110 or 130. I know you have tune them because they don't always play nice together. I tune the core down to 85-90 and memory down to 490-500. I still get some artifacts. Temps are around 58-60C with Kryonaut and modded with 2x be quiet Silent Wings 3. Great card in DX11 but can have some issues with DX12 but not all the time like Hitman 2 and 3. I use 3x 25" UltraWide monitors that together is 7680 x 1080. Anything recommendtons to help with artifacting?
  5. We in plugged everything aginand reinstall them. It then powered on.
  6. I'm fixing a GP72 7REX Leopard Pro Gaming Laptop for a customer. When it was first brought in it turned on. The customer wants a backup and reinstall because he messed up Windows and his password. So I took out the hard drive to backup. After reinstalling the hard drive it turned on. Then I had to reset the bios because he password locked it and doesn't remember doing that. After trying to reset the bios the first time it turned on but the bios was still password locked. After the second time of taking the battery out and unplugging the cmos battery, it wouldn't turn on. The charger light was on. So I left it plugged in for a while to see if that will work. When I came back the charger light was out. I did try taking the battery out the holding the the power button for 30-60 seconds but no luck.
  7. I did seem to fix it. I used CRU to make Surround to be 75Hz. I had to enable Surround then I get the option to pick 75Hz.
  8. I have a GTX 1070. When I configure Surround I only get 60Hz. I have all the same monitors set to 75Hz with the same timings through CRU. Each monitor is using Club 3D DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0b HDR Active Cable.
  9. I used paper clips as clipsand then used small zip ties only to connect the fans together and not to the heatsink. Looks professional.
  10. Would it be safe if the zip ties are under the backplate or too hot?
  11. I have a Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming and doing a fan mod. The fans I am using are be quiet 120mm Shadow Wings 3 high speed pwm. I've been having trouble with mounting the 2 fans. So I am thinking of making clips. What could I use? Also, I found a pic of someone who has done a fan mod on this card.
  12. I am going to be using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for the first time soon. Has anyone used Kryonaut for years without problems and without replacing?
  13. I have a small deep Scratch on my phone. Can't really tell it's without shining light or running your fingernail over it. It doesn't really bother me but is there a way to fix that?
  14. For more power to the PWM hub without using SATA power but I fixed this by not using y splitters and only connecting a fan to each fan connector on the hub. I have 5 bequiet! 140mm Pre Wings 2 non - pwm fans. What I found is that most fan headers are 1A. Each bequiet! 140mm Pre Wings 2 non-pwm fan has an input current of 0.09A and a safety current of 0.12A. So 5 fans = 0.45A input current and 0.6A safety current making it is safe to plug all 5 into the PWM hub without SATA power.
