They work fine.  Just get a PCIe or USB sound card.
 
Also, getting a full size GPU into a 1u server is a challenge.  I used a flexible PCIe riser to put the GPU outside the case.

Not really, they would make trace routing a nightmare and you would not want to pay >$1000 for a MB.
 
Faster slots come with PCIe revisions.

The chip is so small that you cant get the heat out of it efficiently (the main problem with smaller process nodes).  The silicon itself is a thermal insulator at those power densities.
 
The 3600 has more "dark" silicon, thus a lower power density.

Using an emulator + BIOS dump for a console you own + Original game media = 100% legal.

Ive been following emulation for nearly 30 years, that argument has held water in court multiple times.

On my first builds, none.  I did OC a Matrox G400 to the point of memory failure.  I have also crushed a few of the old school CPUs that didnt have heatspreaders from the factory in the Socket 462 days.
 
Didnt keep me from overclocking and then holding the Rage 128 3D Mark record for a few months.

Also make sure the RAM is installed in the set of slots furthest from the CPU.

To get it working you also likely need to do the following...
Get working TRFC values from Ryzen Master and compare to the DRAM calculator
If TRFC values look off use the higher of the two
Set all other timings from the DRAM timing calculator
Set SOC voltage to ~1.05v
 
The DRAM calculator gives me values for TRFC that are something like 100 lower than what they should be, 470 when it needs to be 560.  The system will not boot if TRFC is too tight with my modules.  I can hardly go below TRFC 540 @ 3400 without random issues.  Im using bottom tier super cheap Hynx MFR modules.

This is a good option if you are looking to spend $150 or so.
 
Just put your current GPU in the new system and drop another $150 into a 1650 or something later and you will have something like 4x the performance on all fronts.

Shouldnt be a problem.  CPU is 65w at most, 750 Ti is ~60w, other parts might pull ~25w.  You should be well within your PSU specs, though PSUs that old sometimes cant put out their full rated wattage.

The PSU checks out according to that meter AFAIK.
 
The -5v is optional, as nothing uses it anymore.
The other +5v and +3.3v lights are for if you are testing a SATA power plug, if you have the CPU power connector plugged in it should only show 12v.

No, it will plug into a fan header or into a SATA power connector.

I do not have those problems in either game with that CPU.  If that was the initial problem, stuttering would be present on both GPUs.
 
Ive played GTA V on CPUs as old as Xeon E5440s, if you dont go overboard on vegitation or pop density pretty much anything can run that game fairly well.

I had a 1070 in a E3-1220 rig, it worked fine.  Bottlenecks do not result in what is being mentioned in this thread.

3300x has plenty of legs left for overclocking, especially with FCLK.  It can pick up something like 20% performance from basic tuning.

OH, first boot can take a bit, memory training on the 3000 series chips seems to take a bit.  After the board gets proper memory timings worked out it shouldnt be much of a problem on further cold boots.
 
On my setup DDR4 3200 works fine, but sometime resets to 2133 on a cold boot due to the training issues.  Just set it back to 3200 and reboot.  Its annoying, but not something that keeps the rig from working.

Update to P1.80 if you are on an older BIOS than that, then update to the newest version.
Do not swap CPUs untill you have the newest BIOS installed.
