is this mainly all the things that are compatible with this mother board ?
How much performance would an X6 really give me though? I really have no clue lol
As for the RAM, would these maybe be ok ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-8GB-KIT-4x2GB-PC2-6400-DDR2-800-Dual-Channel-240pin-DIMM-Desktop-Memory/331194734945?epid=0&hash=item4d1cbe9961:g:iJgAAOxyOalTZybTWhat do you do? In heavily threaded stuff x6 would be 50% more performance. For tasks that dont care about threads its slower.
Pretty much ANY new CPU on the market today is faster. Even a new dual core is faster in all cases.

Didn't think of searching about the CPU's support. Then that answers it. ASUS should fix their specs.
That model does come with CPU options that support 2400 AFAIK.

I tried searching docp too. Either just aren't showing as options nor the "AI tweaker" thing. I'm thinking the motherboard doesn't really have it lol.
Here's some pics on how my BIOS looks like.
What CPU is in the laptop? Memory speed support is down to the CPU model in most cases.

No better CPUs really. Maybe an X6.
You are kinda screwed on DDR2. You MIGHT find 4x 2gb DDR2 800, but it may be overpriced.

Got it. Here's how it looks like on the memory tab.
So its 2133 with just the Crucial memory or just the Samsung memory?
Generally you dont want more than two modules because there are timing/speed penalties by default. If you cant OC at all you get stuck at intels default max speed for having two modules on one channel.

Dont use task manager to determine these things, it doesnt know its head from a hole in the ground.
Check the memory tab on CPU-Z.

-I run cinebench and Heaven only to be sure is not a gpu/cpu/psu problem. Also Im only using my hdd, I removed the ssd 2 weeks ago to see if it was the problem. Since I removed it the system is slower, but it also more stable.
-Btw I think that the gta5 freezes were caused by a game issue, I saw a lot of people on internet saying that freezes are common while driving. Today I tried with a lower resolution and I had no problems while playing.
- About read errors, I will do some research. Should the "Read Error rate" value be 100 instead of 81 ?
Thanks for helping me!
It should be 0. The problem threshold is 6.

By default, under light load, the voltatge on Ryzen 3000 will go up to ~1.45v to hit maximum turbo.
However, under full stress it will drop down to ~1.32v. Amperage and heat is what kills CPUs, not nesicarrily voltage.

CB and Haven do not load from the disk much.
Also, that report is from your HDD, not SSD. And it is showing read errors from the disk.

Yeh it's the same silicon, but it's the best binned of the batch.
That is absolutely not true from the samples I have.

I am actualy building a pc for my friend from new parts and i thougt that I can use my r7 1700 so maybe the bios will be ok. First I will try the new cpu. And then I will put in my r7. To update it if the bios is old.
The CPU will not work if you dont have a newer BIOS already installed. I tried.

OH, first boot can take a bit, memory training on the 3000 series chips seems to take a bit. After the board gets proper memory timings worked out it shouldnt be much of a problem on further cold boots.
On my setup DDR4 3200 works fine, but sometime resets to 2133 on a cold boot due to the training issues. Just set it back to 3200 and reboot. Its annoying, but not something that keeps the rig from working.

Update to P1.80 if you are on an older BIOS than that, then update to the newest version.
Do not swap CPUs untill you have the newest BIOS installed.
Just did this on an ASRock X370 Killer SLI + R5 3600 setup myself.

Get Crystal Disk Info and check the SMART counters. Easy way to check for basic flash failure, however if the controller itself is failing it may not report errors.

They are the top tier silicon, for customers that can't just use onboard graphics to view YouTube until a replacement arrives should the card fail. When time is money, the cost of a Quadro easily offsets the cost of a card failing during use.
Not sure if sarcastic or not.
Its the same silicon. AISC quality is no different from what you find in consumer cards.
I have a few pulls from old workstations, they dont OC any better and they are not any more stable. You can even hack drivers to enable quadro features on standard cards.

Thank you for the reply. I hadn't heard that before. I always hear faster memory is better with Ryzen. I'll definitely try lowering my memory clock speed when I get home tonight.
Faster IS better, but on 1st gen chips there were issues with the internal bus not being able to maintain the higher clocks.
In theory you could jack up the CPU_SoC voltage to ~1.2v and make it work, but that still isnt a 100% fix. Lowering clocks just a hair under 3000 is pretty much a sure fix.

… ? Okay you might need to work on your English/spelling but Quadro 4000-8000 are the most powerful cards and can be used for basically any workload no matter how large, and then there are some less powerful cards and if you are confused you can tell us specifically what you want to do and what budget you have, then what you're looking at.
Quadro cards are just desktop gaming GPUs with lower clocks until you hit the extreme high end. They only perform better in specific situations where the driver tweaking done for them by NV gives them a performance boost.

Memory is not agreeing with what you are trying to run it at. That is all.
Wih mismatched sticks it is best to leave it on auto settings.

Get the device ID from its properties -> details page.
Google that ID.

Possible Upgrade Paths for M4A785-M
in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory

Then dont upgrade, you will not see any significant performance change without changing to a newer CPU/MB/RAM. Not to mention the used market prices for those parts can get to the price of some newer parts. And as I said, ANY new part will be better, even super cheap ones.
